Reed fences are inexpensive bamboo-like coverings for existing fences, walls, or screens. Reed fences are commonly used to cover chain link fences. This exclusively designed reed fence uses only clean polished reed woven with natural looking black nylon coated wire that matches perfectly with the color tone of the reed. Reed fences have an opacity of about 85 percent. It can be doubled making it totally opaque. Cedar posts and stringers can be used to install this fence. Comes in a roll. 2'H x 14'W

    • Very sheer and delicate
I used this for around a plastic pond liner on my deck I put goldfish in. I needed to double it up to make it look nice. It’s fine for now but I don’t think it’ll last many seasons, it’s pretty brittle and came with some mold, I don’t think it had enough time or space to dry properly.

ive got a backyard patio with 2 sides enclosed and 2 sides open. I like to sit in my little patio and had a real issue with trying to get total privacy in it. I tried curtains but they just blew around and weren't doing the trick. until I found this little reed screen. I put it up around one side of the patio that had open "windows" and was able to enclose one whole side of my patio. I can see out but the screen obscures enough that anyone looking into my yard from a fence opening has to really look hard to see inside. Mission accomplished! for under 25 bucks. it lets in light, air and looks natural. I love it. on the other open side of my patio im putting up 6.5ft reed walling to deter young kids on the other side of my fence from peeking in my yard. will review that when I do so. ... show more

    • Too much space between bamboo
The spacing between each bamboo was much wider than others I bought in the past so it didn't give as much privacy as I wanted. Also the bamboo slipped out easily so was the space or the thread was not tight enough. The height, color and length match smoothly but still TWO STARS at $30 price paid.

The fence is short in 1 inch and narrow in half feet. If you look for the exact size (like me), be aware the size can be shorter. Some of the bamboos are broken and it makes the fence ugly. The product look promising, but unfortunately our expectations were too high.
