The aircap is different from the pictures, I thought it was like in the picture thinking it wont be a air hog but it has hole around the nozzle making it consume a lot of air for a mini gun. Quality and machining is amazing. Excellent atomization. Cup is nice black anodized but you cannot see how much paint is left, and it's small. Fan pattern is 8". Small and light weight. Ordered a 3m pps 2.0 adapter #S21, 26105, 14 mm Female, 1.0 mm Thread and a 1.3mm needle set, i'll update if the fan pattern is bigger. It sprays clear very good with the1.0mm tip i have yet to try the 1.3mm set. I might just make this my primary clear coat gun. Update: 1.3mm needle set fan pattern is bigger. Sprayed clear at full fan and full fluid at 28 psi and it performed good, I'm pretty sure it can operate at lower psi at the same settings. I need to figure out how low air pressure it can spray without leaving orange peel. Since it atomizes really well, i think its great for clear coat. ... show more

Finally an upgraded alternative to buying the overpriced spray guns from cerakote. This spray gun is by far the best for applying Cerakote finishes. It even comes with air regulator and cup adapter for the master paint disposable cups.

I purchased this to do Cerakote exclusively. It did well with 1.0 tip but ordered the .8mm Needle and air cap for a little bit more fluid control. Had to do 142 small pieces at work and it covered very well without runs and one single pass. I highly recommend for cerakote

Excellent spray gun… comes with cheap and leaking regulator. At least it’s removable for trash can where it belongs.
