Great little airbrush booth. Removes fumes and captures over spray in the filter. I set this up in the kitchen and used it on a model and my wife commented that she didn't smell anything when she came in the house, but she did note it immediately when she went outside the vented window that I had used for the hose, so it is doing what I wanted it to do. Easy setup, easy to use, and stores in a small package. It looks like the filter can easily have filter material cut into the existing opening. I may consider a second unit for larger models since I am very pleased with the first unit. I had always avoided buying a spray booth just due to the large size of traditional units, but these little portable units solve the storage conundrum.

Was skeptical. No longer. I took the plunge. Noise levels. What are people thinking? This is not designed to spray during the movie! It is just fine. It is not loud enough to drown out the sound of the airbrush. Perfect solution. Suction. Beauteous!! Remove much of the overspray. If you point it I. A strange direction or a part that hangs out of the unit, it will not suck it down. I probably should tape down paper shields but I don't. I have 50 coats of various paint colors all over including the turn table and it works excellently! Exhaust hose. Ya, it is cumbersome. But that is actually a good thing. It is fairly rigid and pretty much will stay where you put it. Standard dryer hose size so if you don't like the rigidity, you can buy the flexible kind and exhaust it clear into the neighbors house. I love the one provided. The only thing that I don't like is the compartment for the little power puck. It takes an expert in puzzles to figure out how to get it on there. But the thing folds up nicely. I don't care about that because I have never gone anywhere else to paint my models. I have put it away on rare occasions and the fold up feature is truly nice but not the primary purpose of the device.

I love this product!!! Truth be told, if you're a finescale modeler like me, unless you're modeling 1/32 aircraft, 1/48 bombers, or 1/350 to 1/200 warships, the dual box is probably overkill..., the single box is large enough to handle 1/16 cars, 1/48 aircraft (bombers might be a little tight) 1/35 armor, and anything in-between with ease. I did a water vapor test, and smoke test and the draw from the fans is excellent. I will be adding an LED strip for extra light. Fans are loud, but not intrusive. I love this thing especially the portability of it! Easy to set up and take down. Be mindful that you will need 4-6" behind the box for clearance of the exhaust duct. I recommend it! Happy modeling!!!! The turn table in the back is included with pole clips!!! BONUS SCORE!!!! (Pic is of single box set up. Oh one more thing, I recommend getting a 4" tee or wye to merge the exhaust from both boxes into one outlet.

This unit is as compact as I was hoping. It also expanded to the size I typically use. I bought the unit with an exhaust. You will have to remove four screws on the back and install a shroud before you can use it. But it works just fine once installed. Remember not to place too many bents in exhaust or your fan will be unable to overcome back pressure. When the unit arrived, the plug in power supply (DC Transformer 120VAC 60Hz to 12VDC 1.5A) did not work. They don't handle being dropped very well and this one apparently was dropped before I got it. Since I'm an electronics tech and save working power supplies from old electronics, I just pulled another one from my salvage bin and the unit came right to life. If your not that handy...go to Radio Shack or contact the mfg. For me this is not a big issue. [Spoiler Alert: Do not attempt this at home without proper training, as it will void warranty and may break unit......Since this is a simple unit electrically, I might later upgrade the fan with a Brushless DC fan (like in PC cases) with higher volume and maybe a LED light in the back. Think Blue.] I have waited awhile for something this neat, compact and inexpensive. Thanks Master Airbrush!!! Update: This is my second buy. This one had a new adapter on the back and didn't require removing metal screen. Also the fan is better and pulls air faster. Overall better unit. I did upgrade the exhaust duct to all metal from a hardware store. It will reduce the flammability of unit in case of....say a fire. I'm not telling you how I know. The unit is only rated for acrylics.

This thing works like a champ exhausting all fumes out the window with the extension tube. Surprising amount of useful work area and you can always fold down one side for working on long items or get two and link them together! I use it for plastic engraving and plastic welding. Most of the particles end up in the filter and all the fumes are blown out the window. I just open the window enough to hold the exhaust tube in place. There isn't even a hint of burned plastic smell when I'm done working. Money well spent. Everything included except the extension tube fits into the case when you collapse it down. The tube is collapsible too, so it doesn't take up much room if you aren't using it.

It's ok for the size and price you pay for it. Very easy to set up. Only downside i didnt like about this product is that you would need about 5 inches from your wall, so there is that space behind it for the exhaust and hose. Overall it does its job pretty well, it vents out the smell/dangerous air particle you are spraying. Noise level is not so bad, went over to the room next door and you can't hear it. This was in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep. If i were to compare it to anything it would be the same noise level as a noisy computer fan on high. Lastly, the lighting. Make sure you have good lighting as this one does not have a built in light to it. I think there is another version with a built in light. If you're looking for a cheap airbrush booth that does its job, easy to set up, and easy to put away look no further!
