I have purchased 3 pairs of these so far. They are the only flats I can actually wear without pain or discomfort. I can walk around them for hours without a problem. They stay in place and have enough toe room to stay comfy. Although the insoles are not orthotic, they do have a little real arch support (not just the usual decorative stitching that shows where they should have been), and they have nice cushioning under the heel and metatarsal areas. The product description suggests these shoes are not suitable for bunions, but I am happy to report that the flexible upper and flattering cut conceal mine comfortably. Overall, they are a really cute and comfy pair that you can dress up or down. My only concerns are with the color and sizing. The black pair left dark stains on my feet, so the dye there is pretty unstable. As to sizing, the description recommends sizing down but even a half size smaller felt uncomfortably short and snug (7,5). The other pairs I own in size 8 all feel a bit different on, some fit perfectly, some are a tad loose, so I would say, sizing is a bit inconsistent. ... show more

I have been looking for brown shoes and when these arrived and I opened the box, I said to myself—“I love these!” I just noticed that these are frequently returned bc they are too loose. The shoe fits true to size but if you try to attach the Velcro strap too tightly, the Velcro doesn’t match up. The strap has to be slightly loose, but the shoes don’t feel loose when you walk in them. A slightly shorter strap would improve the design, but I still love them! Edited to add—I guess these are slightly bigger than a typical size 9, but not a whole half-size bigger, just the slightest bit loose. ... show more
