I have a bit of an addiction to colorful markers, pens, and pencils, and I have more than one set of each. I found a couple old ones of this brand in a Ziploc bag full of writing utensils and surprisingly liked them. I use them to make my notes for nursing school a little more colorful. I love these because they're fine-tip and therefore easy to write with, but they're more vibrant than pens, and the thin size makes them easy to hold (I have tiny hands). Nothing exceptionally fancy, but not super cheap. Edit: After using them for a few years: They do bleed through regular/thin paper sometimes, but it’s not enough of a problem that I stopped using them. It really made my notes more fun and colorful. So I have had these for months now, left them in the hot car in the summer in my backpack, left them in the freezing cold in my backpack.. Used them all the time. And they still write perfectly with beautiful colors. If they ever stop working or I lose them I will be repurchasing more! These are my favorite pens! I am a waitress and always am scared that customers will take them home with them when signing their bills, but so far I have been lucky. These are awesome pens and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with them. They don't bleed through paper and they don't smudge! (Very important if you're a lefty like me!) I even use them to make pretty doodles while sitting in class because they're such pretty colors. ... show more

    • Great little pens!...not waterproof.
LOVE these great little pens...and the incredible color variety they offer! I use them every day!...both for art and for writing...Their only drawback that I can see ... is they are not waterproof...and you must be careful not to get near water with your work you're done with it...as you'll have a blurred product! ... Also, however, because they are NOT waterproof, they do not have the objectionable odor that many waterproof pens (Sharpies) have. Being chemically sensitive, this is a very real factor for me. ... show more

    • Favorite bullet journal pens!!
These Le Pens are my favorite bullet journal pens!! These do not smear, but seem to dry instantly. Unlike the Sakura fine tip 3 piece set or Tombow brush set which both smear some. The brush set is nice if you want a brush, but never use the Sakura unless my trusty black LePen is misplaced. Probably why LePen has the least amount of bleed through. LePen has a nice fine tip. So happy!! Just need to purchase a couple more black ones. ... show more

These are the BEST PENS EVER for doodling. They make a beautiful thin mark. Want to feel like an artist? Pick them up and start making patterns... and just keep going. They're addictive. Love love love them. Wish there were a yellow and orange in the set. The bigger set (which I've already ordered) has an orange. Still no yellow, but still... these things are the bomb. ... show more

    • Not a Bad Option for Illustrators, Not a Good One for Writers
I have a problem with compulsive pen purchasing. Office supplies are my aphrodisiac. But it's ok, if you're reading this you're one of my people. However, I sadly must say that these are not a good option if you are looking for note-taking or journaling pens. The tiny, sensitive nibs wear down very quickly--so they're far better suited for the gentle stroke of an artist making tiny lines. I'm not a heavy-handed note taker either, but I find that these just aren't practical for writing a lot The colors also seem to transfer much darker onto paper than the color of the pen exterior. So if you are looking to color with these, you may find that these colors aren't as vibrant or distinct as you were hoping. I found that Statedler fine-liners have a much stronger nib that are more suitable for note taking than these. But if you are an artist, these may be exactly what you're looking for. ... show more
