Recently, I redid my guest bedroom. I removed a huge four poster bed and replaced it with a white metal platform bed. I needed a console table to set opposite the bed, and it had to be sufficiently long to support a 43” flat screen TV. I didn’t want a white table that would “match” the bed. I also did not want the table to overpower my new light and airy metal bed. I saw this table on Amazon and immediately ordered it. My sister was visiting when it arrived and I put her right to work. After unpacking the pieces, she and I, both in our 70s, assembled it in about 15 minutes. Instructions were simple and clear. Its drawers arrived already in tact so all we had to do was attach legs and shelves. All the holes lined up and all required hardware was included. This piece (with the exception of its two drawer frames and hardware) is constructed of real, reclaimed wood. I could barely believe that, for the price. And because it is made of reclaimed wood, expect color variations and a good amount of “natural” distressing. This table is not for someone who wants pristine pieces of wood. I use this table in a room with coastal vibes but it would be equally fitting with farmhouse decor. Its metal drawer pulls are simple and nice, and the entire piece is well made. Oh, and this table would easily support a television larger than my 43” model without looking burdened. I am confident it will bring enjoyment to my guests for years to come. ... show more

This is a heavy, solid wood console. It is perfect for my needs, space, and matches the Ashley havalance tables previously purchased. The finish somewhat of a light greige with a dark taupe gray top. I love this console! It was super easy and quick to put together except it came with a manufacturing error. One corner brace of one shelf did not have the hole drilled needed for the screw. I went through customer service and asked if I could just get a replacement shelf for the defective one. Since return and exchange of the whole table would have been my option, customer service and I came to an agreement that allowed me to keep the console and I paid a local handyman to come fix the brace. Overall, I’m thrilled to have found something of solid wood that matches the havalance items I own. Aside from the manufacturing error which should have been caught by quality control and fixed before leaving the factory, otherwise I’d say it’s a great value because it’s heavy duty, and has lots of options for storage, displaying “dust collectors” etc ... show more

Love, love, love this console table! I have other pieces from this brand and style in the same color (Natural Finish) and they look fantastic! There is a modest amount of assembly required, but I was easily able to do it in about 20 minutes. For they money, this looks FAR more expensive than it is. I'd been eyeballing this piece to complete my living room for a few months and when I noticed it on sale, I pounced! Fits perfectly in front of a large window overlooking the backyard. The natural tone of the wood isn't too orange either. Quality is really nice but I don't have small kids in my house putting it to the test either. ... show more

    • Inaccurate color and tacky finish
The color of this piece is much darker than advertised and shown in the pictures. It is not a lighter pine but closer to a mahogany. A few areas of the finish are rough and “tacky”. It’s a solid piece and relatively easy to assemble. I would return because the finish is poor but not sure if it has to be disassembled to do so. ... show more
