    • Nice solid desk
I've been very satisfied with this desk. I bought the delivery service along with the desk and it was worth it. The delivery guys brought it into the house (and down a flight of stairs), and unboxed it and took the boxes away. The boxes and packaging materials were huge, so having them take it away was well worth it. The desk comes in two large pieces, and they are very heavy and bulky, so it took two fit delivery people to carry it in. Once unboxed, the desk fit together almost perfectly. I was worried that the two large pieces of the desk wouldn't line up right and the screws wouldn't go through, but they lined up perfectly. The only minor flaw was on one of the little "feet" which you have to attach. All the feet had little alignment pegs on them, and they all lined up perfectly except one which was just slightly off. I ended up swapping some of the feet around and found an alignment that worked for all of them. The effort required to assemble the desk wasn't that much, although it did take some crawling around under the desk to set screws, and some shoving and holding of large pieces while trying to get screws through holes, but it's something one person can do with a bit of planning and reasonable effort. Once completed, the desk looks very nice, and feels very solid. All the drawers and doors work and seem tight. The two center drawers both come with fold-down fronts to double as keyboard trays if desired. And both have nice magnets to hold them closed when acting as a drawer. The other drawers have internal wooden dividers which can be moved to different slots. The only thing which could have been better would have been a few more cutouts for computer and power wires. I have an odd setup due to multiple monitors and docking stations so I need to get creative with where to run the wires. But in the scheme of things, this is a very minor issue. ... show more

    • Good Solid Desk that's Easy to Assemble
This is a nice desk... very solid, heavy, and it looks good in my house. There is virtually no assembly required (just bolting the two pieces together) - so for my fellow shoppers who absolutely hate to assemble furniture... you'll especially benefit from this desk. One concern I have is the top of the desk is not flat - meaning you cannot write directly on the desktop because it has ridges or a rough/grain-type surface. So you'll have to either write on a pad of paper or buy one of those desktop mats that you can write on. I originally purchased a $400 desk that was crap... and there seemed to be a huge gap from the cheap desks to a decent desk... but at the end of the day, I'm glad I spent the money - it was worth it.     • Beautiful desk; TERRIBLE shipping!!
The desk is beautiful, and we are really happy with it. However, for a nearly $1,500 purchase, the shipping process would get zero stars if I could break it out separately. We had a firm delivery date; husband stayed home for 12 hours waiting; they ghosted us. Then they told us to be available 12 hours a day for a four-day period. When I wrote to complain, they gave us a different delivery date. On the delivery day, we never heard a thing and just assumed they ghosted us again. Very late that night, on a fluke, my son walked out our garage door and found the desk sitting outside in the snow, and it was still snowing. We could have gone DAYS without walking out there.     • Better than expected!!
My husband purchased this desk for his home office. It is very attractive, solid and has a lot of drawer space. The delivery was a few days late but given the world right now, that is not a surprise and the company stayed in touch with us regarding it. When it was delivered, the men were professional and did an excellent job placing the desk, they then put the two parts of the desk together and attached the feet. So this would not be a big deal for a person to do on their own. Definitely a great desk for the price. ... show more

    • Good quality and nice features.
Love this desk and also got the lateral file later on. It is more brown than gray which I didn't want but overall it's a very nice piece. Love all the added features. It is heavy and hard to get upstairs, but very well made.

Great solid desk period, great layout and very good quality for the money. Had a couple little blemishes/dings but nothing you would see if your not looking for them. Love the drawer layouts and features. Also the weathered dove os a very noce nutral color/look.

    • Easy to assemble, a bit overpriced.
The desk is perfect for my setup. The printer space is small for a printer but works great for storage. I have three monitors and docking station and still plenty of work space left even with printer placed on top. I must note, the desk is very nice looking and sturdy. This desk is great. Took about 5 minutes to assemble. It is large and heavy but delivered fast and with no damage. Good quality and looks good. I would recommend it for an office desk! Lots of work space.
