I bought this for my son for Christmas and was very excited for him to receive it. I wanted to love it. Unfortunately, there is a design flaw that makes it almost unusable. When we load the bow with the mini marshmallows and try to fire it, the “loading tube” pops off the top rather than the marshmallow firing. We get an average of one out of every 10 marshmallows to fire, and in between, we have to fix and reload the tube. Frustrating beyond belief. This would not be an issue if the tube were to simply twist/screw on rather than sitting in top. The force of air only has two ways out…either force the marshmallow through to fire or push the tube upward. The tube usually wins. It’s a fun toy when it fires. Unfortunately, this problem just makes it too frustrating to make it worth the effort.

HUGE BUMMER ! The marshmallows get stuck in the chamber and the marshmallow cartridge pops out of its fitting every time we use the bow. It’s a huge bummer trying to get the marshmallows unstuck from the chamber. Save your money. Go buy a slingshot and shoot your marshmallows that way. You’ll be much happier not going through all of the Bull dookie we’ve gone through with this marshmallow bow.

Gift is easy to assemble and great for the adventure. Must have small marshmallows and very important to let them dry out prior to use! Fresh marshmallows are sticky and do not work. Dry out a sandwich bag full prior to gifting and give with.

If I could give 100 stars, I would!! We purchased this for our 4 year old on her birthday for a "Brave" themed party. We bought 2 so that our 2 year old daughter would have one too. Not only did they LOVE these easy to use bow and arrows filed with their favorite treats, but after about 10 minutes, my parents (grandma and grandpa), and my husband somehow ended up playing with them, and a war of epic marshmallowy proportions broke out!! I haven't seen my parents laugh so hard! My mom pelted my husband in the lip with a marshmallow, and he in turn pegged her in the noggin!! After the bag of mini marshmallows came to an inevitable demise, my parents very seriously told us EXACTLY what they wanted for Christmas this year! :-) Buy a $1.00 bag of mini allows at Target, and enjoy hours of fun and stomach pains from laughing!! If you give each each mallow a slight squeeze in the middle when you load it, they don't get stuck ever... fyi. My kids still LOVE their bow and arrow marshmallow launcher months later, and have experienced no injuries whatsoever. Buy it!!

This is a well made toy and so far has been a big hit with my kids. I bought this for the older one and he loves it! It shoots about 20 feet with pretty good acuracy. Prior to this he had one that you had to blow into to shoot the marshmallows but he likes this one much better. If your marshmallows are getting stuck try a little powdered sugar in the barrel and they will not stick. It is definitely an outside toy. If you buy one make sure to stock up on 'ammo' since they can go through it pretty quickly and the marshmallows are not reusable. The dog really loves it because he gobbled up the shot marshmallows although we moved him away from the line of fair after he ate a couple of them. I wouldn't recommend this for small kids because the bow may be difficult for them to pull back and there are some small parts. For my younger ones I bought the marshmallow guns. It's a fun, safe way to work off some energy. I ordered directly from Amazon and received it quicker than expected. It was well packaged and in perfect condition when it arrived. I would recommend this product.

It's fun when it works. It's finicky. We purchased 1 for each of our 3 kids (ages 11 & 12) for Christmas (2 girls, 1 boy). One piece broke taking it out of the box to assemble it. We managed to finagle it enough to make it work but it takes a little patience to do so. They jam easily, even using the mini marshmallows, so make sure to not jam pack them in there. Also, just my own personal tid bit, I recommended not letting them use it while playing hide and seek at night after the dew has fallen. Dew + marshmallows= a little bit sticky...even though it made a lot of fun! Hope this helps :)

I bought this as a gift for my nephew. I must say it exceeded my expectations. When it arrived, my husband and I got it out to assemble it and pre-load it for wrapping (we wanted it to be ready to play with!). It was fairly simple to assemble, but would be best if an adult assembled it, I think a child would have a difficult time. We held the tube sideways while loading like the instructions suggested, marshmallows went in with ease. Once loaded we couldn't resist playing with it. It was easy to fire, and man was it POWERFUL! The marshmallows left a puff of sugar dust as they flew out from the barrel. Not powerful enough to hurt or injure, but this thing can send them across the room with no problem! My nephew is 6, and this was his favorite gift by far. Felt like we should have gifted one to his dad as well.
