Unboxing: 5/5 Most, if not all, Marsail standing desks arrive in a branded cardboard box, with the components being safely packaged within using styrofoam and plastic wrapping. The base is almost guaranteed to arrive safe, but the corners of the desk top are a vulnerable point. Looks: 4/5 The only thing I could possibly complain about these desks are the 2-piece tops. However, that’s the only way the desk is able to fit in a smaller box, I’m assuming to reduce shipping costs and offer it at this low price. The wood is obviously fake, but it goes well with the rest of an industrial style room. The legs are very standard and simplistic, just being blocks of solid color, but it saves the most space and draws attention towards the desk too. Lastly, the controller is nice and simple, keeping with the theme of the desk. Quality / Durability: 5/5 I’m sure this desk will last forever. The mechanism is extremely simple, and the base + top are very durable. The parts are very modular, and the controller is connected by a simple cable, so if something goes bad in the future I’m sure it would be easy to fix. All of my Marsail desks have lasted a few months so far under heavy use, and still work like new. Function: 5/5 Functionally this desk is great. It’s silent, has memory, and the dimensions are perfect for a small room. I use it for studying, that way I can stand for hours instead of sitting. The controller works great and is very responsible, and you can adjust the legs to make sure they’re level relative to each other. The side hooks are helpful, especially since it’s a smaller desk. It's a good standing desk, but really I think it's flexible enough to serve as a traditional sitting desk too....the height can really work both ways, at least for me. Assembly is pretty intuitive, such that the curse words are kept to a minimum. Materials are quite sturdy and while it's not what I'd call Heirloom Quality, it's certainly enough to stand up to even professional use. I particularly enjoy the memory function. I share this desk with one other person and we both have our own preferred heights. Easy to save the personal preference there and just have the memory function move the height as desired.     • Love it, but a few small flaws.

First off, I was able to put it together myself, however, the holes weren't pre-drilled far enough, so my hand is pretty sore after assembling it and having to work so hard to get the "F" labeled screws to properly tighten. Secondly, there is the teeniest gap between the two desktop pieces on the left-hand side after assembling. The screws are properly fitted, but there is just a tad bit of a crack, which you can push closed. It's almost like one of the plate holes on the underside was just a tad too close, causing the ability for a tiny bit of wiggle room. But it is genuinely tiny, I'm taking 2-3 milliliters at most. Other than that, I really like it, and can't find any flaws. There are three pre-programmed heights on the desk, which seem to correspond with cms. Level one is 72 on the display screen, level two is 86, and level 3 is 118, which I had measured to be 46.5 inches(118.11 cm). I'm 5'2'' and setting 2 would be fine if I wanted to type with the keyboard almost at hip level, and 93 would be if I wanted my elbows at a 90-degree angle when typing. You can reset the pre-programmed heights as well. You simply adjust the desk to the desired height, press the "S" button, and then press the numbered button you wish to reset. Overall, I am very happy with the product, especially if I'm taking the price into consideration. Many electric standing desks can be much mores expensive, so the small flaws mentioned early in the post are easily forgivable to avoid spending another $50+ more. ... show more

The motor works great and there isn't any lag after pressing the button. The height is good and I find it comfortable, I am 6'1" and I can use it without any issues. Setting it up took a little bit but after it was done, I was very happy with it and how great it looks. Everyone wanted it in their room after seeing it in action. It is very sturdy and I like the headphone holder. I also like how it isn't too big so I can literally put it anywhere and it matches and doesn't take up that much space. Had it setup and using for over a month. Wife reports that its memory feature works well. I like the 48 x 24 inch desktop size, you can get pads (mouse pad like material) that are that exact size in different designs to change your look. I like the hook for hanging a headset, works well. Also lowers enough to comfortably use with an adjustable height office chair. Very nice find, would recommend for a simple standing desk. ... show more
