Only had it for 1 season and then sold the boat but I can't begin to tell you how happy I was with this purchase. My trolling motor battery was pretty challenging to get to and this nullified that problem. Being able to just run an extension cord to boat and plug in one device to charge both batteries is not

Works fine. You have to set each bank to the type of battery (AGM or lithium) when you first plug it in before connecting the separate connector wires (alligator or ring terminal lines). The unit doesn’t search automatically if you hook it all up first and plug it in. It will remember the battery type thereafter for each line after you connect those terminal lines. The unit is heavy and a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It’s a good charger. It doesn’t fit in my bilge area (it’s too big), so I just attached to a 2x6 piece of wood as a handle to carry it. I use the alligator clips. No big deal as I can use as a portable charger on other batteries too. Nice charger for a decent price.

This little charger is easy to install and the hook up is straight forward. The cost was reasonable and I needed to purchase another charger for a second boat that I purchased that will be left in a slip. I have it sitting on the trailer and fit this in to charge the starting battery and house battery. The previous owner had a two bank charger hooked up to charge the two batteries for the trolling motor, and I considered just buying a 4 bank charger to charge them all at once but that would of been a bit more of a process. I have another boat that is set up like that and it is nice. Either way this is the perfect size charger, love the size, it will charge the batteries pretty quickly and even has a repair option that my much more expensive 4 bank charger doesn't. This little thing works!
