Reviews correct that sheets are scratchy after first regular wash, but after washing with baking soda and putting vinegar in rinse cycle (google softening sheets) they are much better and I plan to wash again in same solution until they are soft (I should have started that first). I have 2 marimekko duvets that were the perfect softness from the start, so somewhat disappointing but I haven’t lost hope yet. Love the print. I lost hope. Crap sheets. ... show more

Update! They FADE :-( turned a weird color :-( Marimekko was my go to brand for years due to softness ... these sheets are aesthetically pleasing but they’re SCRATCHY ... I don’t believe they are actually 100% cotton percale as advertised. I’m 10 washes in and they’re still awful. :-( very disappointed I’m the high price tag for this set. (I’ve paid up to $199 for a set of Marimekko sheets before but they were AS ADVERTISED). Not sure what’s going on with the brand ... maybe these are a bad batch? ... show more
