If you are looking to buy this perfume not only for the fragrance but also for the appearance of the bottle, don't bother!! I purchased this Dot perfume, bc it was what my late "Mimi" would always wear. Was super disappointed that it came in a clear round bottle instead of the beautiful red and black polka dot with the lady bug decoration as shown in the description. At least the cap to the bottle is just as it is shown in the picture. I, honestly, do not know if this is an actual "Marc Jacobs" product or a "knock off". Judging by the bottle, I am going to assume the latter of the two. If it is the real deal, please accept my apology!! Although, I think the scent is nice, it doesn't seem to last long; and I don't really know if it smells the same as an original "Dot" perfume. My daughter also bought one. When she opened hers, she was like...What the heck is this!?! She ordered a 3.4 oz bottle and was charged for a 3.4 oz bottle, but she received a 1.7 oz bottle. She also was very disappointed that the bottle wasn't like the actual Marc Jacobs bottle. My daughter was given my Mimi's perfume when she passed, and she says this one doesn't smell the same. I hope this review is helpful to anyone who is looking to purchase an actual "Dot" by Marc Jacobs. Update on this review: I previously stated that the cap to this perfume bottle was exactly as pictured. I recently realized that it is NOT as pictured. This is definitely NOT a Marc Jacobs product, and I am completely livid over the fact that I paid $85 for something that isn't what the description says it is. If a "knock off" is being sold, I should get the "knock off" price!! ... show more

I owned a previous bottle that I bought from the actual Marc Jacobs site and the one I just received is the same. Bottle is the same. Packaging is the same. It is what it says it is in the description! And less expensive than when I bought it for the first time!
