I went for it, without ever having smelled it. I men every Marc Jacob's Daisy sent is amazing. I would say this leans a bit gardenia heavy. I like it, but it feels a bit more concentrated. It just took me a bit t9 figure out the right number of spritzes. I definitely recommend.

The wife decided that life was too short to smell like anything other than a high end French bakery. I brought home this bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy because I wanted to see if the hype was real or if I was just buying into a very fancy cloud of sugar. She applied the fragrance in the morning, and the first thing I noticed was that I suddenly wanted to eat her arm. The scent is a full sensory event. It is warm, sweet, and smells exactly like someone is baking a tray of caramel infused treats in the room next door. It is the kind of aroma that makes people stop and look around for a pastry shop that does not actually exist. The real magic, however, happened about eight hours later. Usually, by the time lunch is over, the perfume has checked out and gone home for the day. This one is a total marathon runner. She went through a full day of meetings and errands, and still smelled like a walking dessert by dinner time. It has a lasting effect that is honestly a little bit intimidating. I am fairly certain that if she stood still for too long, a group of hungry hikers might try to follow her home. If you want a scent that actually stays for the entire party and makes everyone around you think of vanilla and caramel, this is the champion. It is soft, powerful, and apparently immortal once it hits your skin. Oh and did i mention the bottle looks cute. She's a fan of Marc Jabobs perfume and this is another that did not disappoint. Now excuse me, something smells good and im all of a sudden hungry.

Perfume is a hard thing to objectively review because everyone will have a different opinion on what smells good or bad. Because of this, I am going to base my review mostly on the quality of perfume instead of the smell. The best part (and also a bit of the worst part) of this perfume is that it is strong. Like... Really strong. I made the rookie move of spritzing it directly on my wrist, then rubbing my wrists together and rubbing them onto my neck. The scent was so strong, after only a few minutes I had to wash off my wrists to reduce the strength. Even after washing my wrists, they still smelled lightly of the perfume. This indicates it is a very good quality of ingredients (as opposed to cheap perfumes that are mostly water or alcohol). Not only did the scent linger after washing, but it lasted all day and over night. The next day the scent level was more where I am comfortable with. On this side, the high price is actually justified because it only takes a tiny bit to get a lasting scent. HOWEVER, there is basically no way to spray less than an excessive dose by the spray bottle design. I really wish it had an old fashioned dipper or a much reduced spray quantity to more accurately apply the exact amount I want. The bottle design is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. It's a cute bottle, but wastes a huge amount of perfume each time (unless you want to knock people over from a mile away). I prefer the classic office etiquette that no one should smell anything about you from more than a handshake distance (ie, 3ft). The excessive spray means the price is not as valuable as I feel it should be... But I seldom feel perfumes meet their extreme price points. Now, a brief bit about the scent. I was dubious about any perfume that smells like any food, but the chocolate sent is actually well balanced with floral notes. The scent is very complex and I suspect every person will get differing main elements. I can't actually decide if I like the smell or not, but my husband likes it a lot. If I can figure out how to get a very light amount on me without overspraying my entire bathroom each time, I will probably wear it frequently.

This scent is amazing. The nice earthy green scent that is met with a banana scent that is uniquely different and surprisingly yummy. It's a nice mix of sweet and freshness but not overly sweet nor immature but rather sensual.

This fragrance is genuinely addictive. The scent has is sweet, slightly creamy with soft floral layer that are rich and inviting. It’s the kind of fragrance that keeps drawing you back in as it lingers. The bottle is truly a piece of art. I love the attention to detail, especially how the stems of the flowers are designed and displayed in the pretty green vase. It’s the kind of bottle you actually want to leave out on your vanity for others to see. It feels decorative and elevated, not just functional. Overall, this is one of those perfumes that stands out for both its scent and presentation. It’s become one I keep reaching for.
