Something I always struggled with has been using blankets during hot months. Either the blanket makes me too hot, or I feel too exposed and un-cozy and have a harder time sleeping. So if I can't sleep I'll finally use the blanket and end up in a pool of sweat, and end up having to wash the sheets and blanket constantly. The solution turns out to be a lightweight duvet and cover. The cover can be washed. And the lightweight duvet, even for the same weight as a denser blanket, because of its low density still feels cozy but doesn't feel so hot. It's more like a light cloud than a blanket. This is a great lightweight duvet. Somehow it's the same size as my other heavier duvets, and feels like it has a similar (but slightly less) volume, but the weight feels like it's only about 25%, which is amazing for sleeping in a tropical climate. On that note, this is a great lightweight duvet for people who live in places that stay warm all year round. It rarely gets below 70F here, yet I can use this year round here. Note that this is the insert only, which you can sleep on directly but I wouldn't recommend it for the difficulty in cleaning regularly; there are lots of nice duvet covers that you can use to match your decor. ... show more

I am very picky about my bedding. This by far is the most comfortable, softest, fluffiest bedding Ive ever owned. Will definitely be buying one for the entire family. I don’t think I will ever go back to a regular comforter again.
