Note: after 7-8 months the trimmer stopped charging/wouldn't turn on. Contacted customer support, within 30minutes they responded. They verified my purchase and shipped a new trimmer same day. 11/10 customer service! Kept seeing ads for this product on a variety of platforms. Needed a new trimmer so decided to #treatmyself. Packaging was nice. Trimmer + wireless charger look great. Tested in shower so definitely holds up to waterproof rating. And ohh man....that built in light is a game changer, specially for down under Have used metal bladed trimmers in the past but after 7months of use I never noticed any performance issues with ceramic blades. Was careful to keep the angle vs. skin low, but was able to trim nether regions without the guard with no nicks or cuts. Good product just keep in mind that there is a safety travel lock that can engage on its own if the power button is held. Just have to click 3 times quick to unlock.

As of to date this trimmer seems to have been a good purchase. I am still in the process of making sure it is worth it for the price, or if I was better off getting something cheaper that works just as well. But so far it has done its job perfectly, and I can’t really complain about it any, other than the price of it. But I am trying to get my moneys worth out of it. It does hold a charge for a super long time. Its cut is super close. The built in light is actually really nice quality of life addition. Wireless, and charging aspect of this trimmer is a huge bonus, due to not having to use batteries. Decently “skin safe”, still have a cut here and there, but nothing like the cheap trimmers I’ve used in the past. Water resistant aspect of the device is a plus. Overall it’s looking like it was a good purchase. I’d say if you have the extra money, and are actively looking for a good new trimmer, then I’d recommend you grab this one and give it a try. ... show more

It’s probably the smoothest razor I’ve ever used and it does a pretty good job for being electric, straight blade razors are always going to get a closer shave but this one really doesn’t leave much hair left. the design is small and sleek with a good feel in the hand it’s quite ergonomic, but the angle of the blade can be a bit annoying sometimes. the light is a nice touch though I wish it was a more neutral white instead of a cold bluish white, it could also be a bit brighter but I’m not planning on shaving in the dark so that’s not an issue. it’s got a good amount of weight to it though the charging cradle is a bit too light it can be dragged down by the cord if it’s not positioned right, but overall I like it, a bit pricy but as long as it lasts a few years I think it’s worth it. ... show more

Does what it advertises. Certainly isn’t perfect and you still need to use with caution. Its nice that it has a “lock mode” for travel so that it doesn’t accidentally turn on and drain the bettery.

    • Best 7 month only razor
After 7 months of use, my Lawn Mower 4.0 won’t take a charge anymore. Regardless I have enjoyed using it for the most part. It leaves a very clean shave around your goodies. I have nicked myself one time when I first got the razor as I was getting accustomed to how to shave properly with the razor. If you follow directions and use it flat along the head and glide across the skin you won’t be nicked. Personally, the razors built-in-light is not as beneficial for me as when I trim bushes I do it with plenty of light. In a bathroom with poor lighting I definitely see the potential for greatness. This razor is definitely waterproof. Compared to others I have owned, the Lawn Mower 4.0 has a real advantage when it comes to shower shaving, which is what I mainly use it for. It maintains the same trimming power in and out of water. The Lawn Mower has a really nice sleek design. It has a soft comfortable grip making it easy to shave spots that aren’t easily accessible. The wireless charging stand is a very versatile thing. You don’t have to keep it plugged in because when first getting the lawn mower it keeps it’s charge very well. I typically charged it 1-2 times a month. This makes it really nice because when I organize my counter space and it can stay wherever I need to without having to run the charging stand USB-C cord. My only complaint is that my razor only lasted 7 months. Currently it’s now a nice but useless piece of equipment now. Regardless of outlet or cord, my Lawn Mower 4.0 will not take a charge anymore. TL:DR - This is a 7 month razor. Works really well and I loved using it for all of my hair trimming but if you are looking for a razor with longevity, sadly this isn’t the one. Unless you have a bit of disposable income, I just can’t justify paying for this every 6 months. ... show more
