Aside from the hair melting even on a low heat… it’s thick and doesn’t shed, thick soft hair!!! With that being said it is excellent for braiding however I would stay away from any type of heat source! I tried to use it @ 350 degrees and it melted lowering it down to the lowest heat setting at 290 degrees it wouldn’t hold a curl right… just wouldn’t bother with it for heat tools - braiding it would be great

For the price of this mannequin, I can’t see why you shouldn’t get it. The amount of hair and accessories that comes with it is unbelievable! You can do many highlights on it and the quality is still great! Would rather buy this than going to Armstrong and pay $60+ for one head
