It’s a bit smaller than I thought it would be but it is a great product. We have had no problem practicing braids, or using a hair straighter or curling iron on it. You have to hold the curling iron a bit longer but it curls up nicely.

Sold as 100% real human hair. It is not! It is fake, synthetic, plastic hair. Very disappointing to have an item arrive that isn’t as discribed. Will be returned.

This is a nice starter head for the beginners only if you want to practice on how to make braids, buns and ponytails. What I didn't realize before ordering is that this head is not suitable for the curling and straightening the hair because you can't use the heat on hair. You also won't be able to color the hair or blow dry the hair. It's synthetic hair. This doll is good for the girls. I think if you are looking for the head for cosmetology training this is not for you. I have to say though that the head comes with a bunch of hair accecories and your little one will probably love to style this doll's hair. It's more like a toy. Get this head if you are looking for something for very simple styling tasks.

It was the best gift for my daughter so she can learn how to braid curl and straighten hair so she doesn't mess up so much on her hair when she's doing it. She even shampooed it and conditioned it and it turned out really good too.

She looks like a mermaid! I always wanted one of the big B*rbie heads where you can style her hair, but this one’s even better! The hair is long and thick. It’s a bit hard to style since it’s so thick. Things that work on my hair don’t work on the doll’s hair. In the picture I have her hair in milkmaid ropes. It’s very flat when I do it on my hair, but on the doll it looks like a crown! It’s so cool! I like all the accessories that come with her. I got: 1. The doll 2. Seven clip in hair extensions 3. Instruction book 4. A bun maker 5. Three parts to anchor the head to a table 6. Two black hair ties 7. A whole bunch of black u-pins 8. A black hairband 9. Two velcro hair “pins” These are great! You just slide them into your head to keep your bangs up and out of the way. 10. A telephone cord hair tie. 11. Flower shaped mini claw clips 12. Two Loop tools for ponytails (big and small) 13. A rattail comb 14. Two packages of plastic ponytail holder in pastels and primary colors. 15. A cute bag of stretchy ponytail holders. I love these. They are so comfortable and useful! I’d type the hair as 1a (fine and straight), Fine (thin, almost translucent in light), iii (thick, 4” circumference ponytail). Most people’s hair will not be this thick! Her head is smaller than a regular adult’s head, too. The circumference (at the eyebrows, parallel to the floor) is 19”. The circumference of an average woman’s head is 21”-23.” It says the doll is not for makeup, but I think I can probably add a set of false lashes to her. She’s really nice and has a cute face. I plan to practice fancy braids on her and new types of buns. P.S. The box is a nice retail one, but the packaging is kind of strange, so I took a picture of that, too.
