The hair is listed as 80% human hair, and while it’s not 100% human, it still works really well for what I need. I’ve been able to do clean cornrows, box braids, and updos without any shedding or tangling issues. It can also take curls, but you do have to use low heat, high heat may damage the hair. I recently purchasrd this head because of the good revieews . How evrer i disput that this is 100% human hair at all, since i can not curl with iron. It came out straight. I rolled with rollers and hot water to curl it. Just wanted somredthing to practice up stylres on which it will work for that as long as i dont need to curl it with an iron. Dissatified

I bought this mannequin head to practice French braids, and while the price was affordable, the hair quality really let me down. Every time I tried to brush or section the hair, a bunch of strands would come off in my hands or get stuck in the brush. It made it hard to focus on actually learning braiding techniques when I was constantly cleaning up shedding hair. The base was stable enough and it looked decent out of the box, but if you’re looking for a realistic practice experience or something durable, I wouldn’t recommend this one. I think it could work better as a display piece rather than for actual styling practice.
