Both my boys have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and they are going through a stimming issue by chinning themselves and others. These were great interventions for me as a parent to purchase and offer to their teachers as an option to use when they feel the need for pressure on their chin. They place these in their lap or around their shoulders and they LOVE them! The teacher has seen just on the day 1 at school such an improvement and it really helps keep them from hurting themselves or anyone else by using their chins. I bought a blue one and a green one so we can tell which is which. I saw someone else commented on the way these feel and the material being poor quality. I think the quality is great! They are not uncomfortable to touch and my children have very high sensitivity issues especially to touch. The material has different texture in it to give the illusion of snake scales but it feels comfortable against the skin and I even enjoyed as an adult the feel of it around my neck. My boys seem to feel the 2.2 pound pressure very calming. I would recommend these to anyone with ASD. They are great for wearing around the neck, across the lap, the chest, pushing your chin into it, squeezing it as it is filled and the sensation is soothing. My only complaint is the price. It seems a bit pricey, especially when you love them so much and would enjoy one for school and home. I enjoy these so much that I will be buying two more soon for my boys to use at home. These are great tools to use in the ASD community.

If you're looking for a shorter weighted snake, this is the one to go. It's a great material and a good weight. I have autism and I've tried other weighted items before but this is probably my favorite one I've used.

I got this for my two-year-old who has sensory issues. He rejected it at first, but I kept putting it on him when he was upset, and it seems to be growing on him. He now seeks it out when he wants to lie down and relax. It's a nicely heavy toy.

Fantastic weighted plush animal-- perfect for kids who need the weight on their lap to stay calmer than they would otherwise. This was ordered for an 8 year old who has difficulty with sensory input and he is enjoying it. It's also a little more boyish than the typical fare. It looks okay if he has it around his shoulders when out or stuffed half-out of his backpack. It's a very cool-looking item. Perfect for laps OR shoulders. Nice weight, very floppy, too. Filled with weighted beads-- it has a nice feel when holding. Recommended. Material is also soft, however, it has a little bit of roughness if your fingers are dry. Not plush velvet like some of the other plush animals made by this company.

Beautiful looking blue snake. My wife and I are foster parents so we're always on the look out for things like sensory toys that could be helpful for our kids. My 7 yr old boy loves snakes, sharks, dinosaurs, etc. He loved this snake and the snake quickly came to play time. The weight seems accurate. They weight feels nice on my skin too. The blue color is very pleasing to the eyes. It is very malleable which is fun. Overall, it is exactly what I was hoping for. My kid loves sleeps with it on him every night and it's not too long so not really a choking hazard for him. I'd recommend.

This is a well made weighted animal. The stitching is strong and it is very durable. The weight is great for little kids. As an adult, even I like resting it on my lap. I got this for a student in my preschool classroom. In hindsight, I wish I got a different animal because they ended up using this to scare other kids. It took more teaching to get it to be a regular object in the room.
