I had a similar product for my son who is now 21 years old when he was a baby and I hunted far and wide for this similar product when I found out I was having a grandbaby. It was the first toy I wanted to try to get for them. He loves it. It's so easy for them to hold onto, move around, crawl over, push, pull, chew on. Easy to clean. No small parts. If you are looking for a toy that will actually keep your baby engaged, the Manhattan Toy Winkel Rattle & Sensory Teether is a total winner. We’ve been using this since my son was 3.5 months old (now 6 months old), and it has consistently been his favorite. Pros • Perfect for Small Hands: The colorful loops make it incredibly easy for a baby to grasp and hold from any angle. It’s been a huge help for his motor skill development. • Highly Engaging: The bright, vibrant colors immediately grab his attention, and the gentle rattle sound isn't too loud or annoying for parents. • Versatile: This is our go-to "everywhere" toy. It’s lightweight enough to toss in the diaper bag and keep him entertained in the car, the stroller, or just playing at home on his mat. • Multi-Sensory: It doubles as a great teether, especially when those first teeth start bothering them. Cons ( -1 star for this) • Hand-Wash Only: This is the only real downside. You cannot put this in the dishwasher or a baby bottle sterilizer. • Cleaning Maintenance: The manufacturer warns that mold can develop if water gets trapped inside the tubes, so you have to be careful not to fully immerse it. It requires a bit of extra time to hand wash and wipe down carefully with warm soapy water. Despite the extra minute it takes to clean, the Winkel Rattle is worth every penny. This toy is great! All the little tubes are soft, bendy, and great for teething. They’re also thin and easy to grab for little hands. The rattle catches his attention and I’m sure one day he will be shaking it. The size is good although I wish they had a smaller one too! Worth the money for sure.
