I had to quit halfway through with a screwdriver because my palms were getting raw even with a rag for friction. Borrowed a drill to finish the rest. This table shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. It’s good sturdy quality and looks great. The color is pretty accurate, maybe a shade darker but that could also just be attributed to the lighting of a room as well. My only complaint is that it came with no instructions, and a shit ton of hardware for the assembly. Some of the guide holes were missing which made it hard to figure out where to place. Fortunately my younger brother is handy and we got it together within an hour but we definitely just winged and muscled a few pieces together with a power drill. Love the look and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I had to drill in the screws by hand because I don't own a power drill. So if you don't have a power drill, you're all right—it'll just take a hot second to put it together. The only thing I haven't been able to do is screw down the bottom wood pieces (on the lower shelf). They screw in from beneath, and I don't have a power drill to do so (which would be best from that angle), and hand drilling that specifically isn't really an option. So I'm going to find some glue that will hold them down. They're just shelves that lay down, so it's not a big deal. Would 10/10 recommend, though. ... show more

This tv stand is incredible. It is beautiful to look at, it is not too heavy and it really holds the weight. Honestly I have nothing bad to say about it at all aside from the assembly. Manhattan comfort is notorious for their bad instruction that doesn't explain much but that really wasn't the worst part. The worst was how much stuff you need to put this together. Drill, hammer, different screw drivers and because of the lack of direction you will find yourself redoing things sometimes a couple times. They also put a but too much faith in the abilities of the layman who may not be comfortable drilling something without guideholes, I didn't mind but I know people who would. Also the tack nails you use to fasten the back panel are so small it is not feasible to hammer them while holding them, they should be a bit longer. It's fairly sturdy and does look nice. The assembly instructions kind of suck, but are enough to get you through building this, and you will have to build this. Not included, are the Philips head screwdriver, hammer, and possible power drill you will need to get this thing together. Once it's together you'll find that it does look nice, and does feel solid. The unit is basically MDF (or particle board) with a thin veneer coating, so don't expect this to wear well. Overall, for the price, this is a fair value. ... show more

The package was lost by FedEx during the first shipment, but the seller contacted me to let me know, and they were able to expedite a replacement for me and it came in a few days. I appreciate that they went the extra mile to make things right, even though FedEx is the one that lost the package. The table is really nice quality. Far better than I expected. TLDR: I love it. It's sturdy, beautiful, and works for my space. HOWEVER: the holes are NOT big enough for the dowels provided. Be ready to drill the holes a little bigger to put the dowels in. I had to use my entire body weight to assemble at times. Secondly, this is too big a job for a screwdriver. You'll definitely need a drill. Third, mine came with holes ready, but not visible! I had to poke around with the screwdriver to find the holes, pilot them, and then screw in the shelves and feet. Anyway, be ready for a difficult assembly, but when it's done, it's VERY sturdy and nice. ... show more

This product came 2 days early than the earliest anticipated date which i love. Once I order a package I want it RIGHT NOW . The packaging was impeccable no damage whatsoever. I am horrible at putting things together and it’s always a struggle for me. This however was assembled with very little headache in around an hour. You will absolutely want a drill to complete the assembly which is stated in the description so it wasn’t an issue. The final product seems very sturdy but does have a 66lb weight limit per the instructions. The final look is very sleek mid century modern. The wood is fake but it’s mostly an accent and looks fairly real. the white material is very shiny and scratch resistant. ... show more
