I originally purchased one of these about 7 years ago, and I was quite happy with it. After 7 years of use, the groomer was still working well, right up until I dropped it on the floor, when it shattered. Since these types of devices rarely are still on the market for so many years, I was shocked to find the very same groomer was still available! There were quite a few trimmers for sale, all quite a bit more expensive than the Mangroomer Pro. For me, this product was the most effective purchase, because I know from experience that it works well, and it cost just a fraction of just about all the others. Great purchase!

I like this. Being battery powered i worried it wouldn't have enough ass, and the batteries would not last. I was wrong, batteries last many uses over months, and usually cuts nose and ear hairs without pulling them at all! Impressive gadget, glad I have it in my shaving drawer. UPDATE- I have now had this for over a year and ifI clouds give it more than 5 stars I still would! I use it occasionally for nose, ears, brow hairs probably 2-4x a month, wet or dry and it does easy its supposed to every time without issue. Its easy to clean and the battery seems to last... Forever? I think I've only changed it once, and its just one of those generic bulk brand batteries I keep in supply for kids toys and such. Just ordered 3 more to have for gifts for guys in the family and/or friends because when I find something that i think is handy as hell for cheap, I want others to try it too! $10? Maybe ill grab 2 more! :-)

Very pleased with the performance of this trimmer, battery last a reasonable amount of time, works well and satisfied with result. I recommend this item, this is my second one, I wore out my first after a few years of use.

Nice Having a New Sharp Trimmer...Works Fast and Painlessly! I replaced an old model bought mail-order (Harriet Carter) It was $10 or something a decade ago. Long story short: I got sick of it yanking more hairs than it cut...so i bought this trimmer I'm reviewing here: It cuts nice and smooth and leaves no razer burn. I pretty much lose most of my nose hair since I sleep with nostril dilators to keep my nostrils from collapsing. Fels like a Nice Design in my Hand While Using it. Nothing special about the cutting blade as it is identical to my old cheaper model. My guess these blades will dull down after 5 years and need a new blade...maybe a person can get just that part in the future...for economic reasons.

I have owned this groomer and the offering from Panasonic. The Mangroomer performs adequately. The low price is a positive. The motor seems to be somewhat weaker than the Panasonic. I am thinking that I have a somewhat defective unit. Time will tell.

Been using this product for years. Had to replace it, as I dropped it on a hard tile floor. However the new one works even better than the one I replaced.

I've purchased Mangroomer several times in the past. Amazon.com never lists me as an Amazon.com purchaser on products I review. I bought Mangroomer every time from Amazon.com. The product worked great in the past. This time I bought two of them this time. They were never used with water and were always store dry. I used them about 3 times a week for short periods of time for nose hair, nothing too heavy. Both stopped working after about 2 months each. I cleaned the contacts and used fresh batteries that worked in other appliances but that didn't work. Mangroomer has not done this in the past. They worked for longer times. Did I just get a bad batch this time? Maybe it's best to order each one separately to assure of getting a good batch.
