    • Direct bolt on to Gen 1 KLR 650 with one issue.

Removed one star because the rubber cone over the ball-joint has nothing to hold it in place beyond weak friction - no flange and groove as one would expect. They seem to stay in place ok, but age and weather will probably make them impossible to keep in place. Direct bolt-on replacement for a Gen 1 KLR 650 without the copious adapters. The wrench is a joke, don't bother with it. The lower rubber things are oddly shaped, but I don't really care - doubt they'll hold out any moisture - but again, don't really care. Easy to install and more visibility over the OEM. Installed on a 2026 Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure, so if ever dropped and broken, you’re not breaking the bank. Will note that while sitting at a red light, the mirror will vibrate slightly. Overall-very pleased with my purchase.
