These are the brand I grew up with as a competitive swimmer. They are the original Swedish Style goggle, and the best style for lap swimming. They have a sleek, low profile, they seal around your eyes nicely, and there's so few parts that you don't have to worry about little things wearing out or making the entire goggle useless. Having used other brands of Swedish Style goggles over the years since, some other manufacturers have made versions based on these that have a larger surface area in front of your eyes which allows for a greater field of vision than Malmsten's goggles. It's not a dramatic difference, but it is noticeable. Other than that, Malmsten goggles are just as spectacular as I remember from my youth. I highly recommend them. ... show more

If you used Swedish goggles in the past, these are excellent. If you are used to goggles with foam or rubber seals, it will take quite a bit of time to get used to them. I personally love these goggles, the look and feel is great!!! (And yes you put them together by yourself)

Shipping was Prime, which is great, but did not include nose piece. String, but I nose piece. It’s not that I can’t MacGyver them, it’s just why should I have to with a purportedly “new” purchase. Not pleased w seller quality.

    • Maybe stored for a long time - antifog coating lost at first swim
Brand new, after the first swimming routine these googles had some plastic, amorph corrugated coating material inside the googles. I remove it, and I guess it was the material applied to avoid fogging. After I have them cleaned up from it the googles got fogged instantly and severely. I guess these googles have been stored for a while and in a way this material was affected. I have used these googles before (several times), and they last at least a three months with daily use before this coating got seriously affected. Still consider two stars due previous experiences; but this set is definitely one. ... show more
