These plates/serving platters are so fun! I'm planning on using them for both since they would be fun for a change over our plain old round plates, shown in my pic. They came packaged very well. However, I deducted one star for 2 reasons. 1 is that one of the plates had a blemish on one of the edges that looked like a chip, but I think it was a problem with the glaze. 2nd, as another reviewer mentioned, there are some really rough spots on the bottom, so you certainly don't want to be sliding them around.
