Everything about the kit is of reasonably good quality and what I expected. HOWEVER, it is crazy that any business is permitted to send consumers something that can make them very ill, at least, or give them cancer if all goes wrong without some warning on the add or in the literature that comes with it. Apparently this is a possibility if you buy something from China. The Kaowool blanket that came with the furnace has fibers that if inhaled can cause cancer. I removed the ceramic blanket, using appropriate protective gear (treat it as if it's asbestos), and replaced it with firebrick coated with Satanite. I bought the brick and satanite myself which has driven the cost of the furnace up quite a bit but made it significantly safer. I noticed in the pictures of this product that it had an exposed Kaowool blanket so I was prepared for the extra expense but anyone that buys this product in the future should know what they're getting.
