The bristles are so soft against your skin and glides smoothly over your skin. This set comes with an individual box containing brushes that are only used on the face and another box for all brushes used for the application of eye makeup. It also contains (3) different sized blender sponges. I also like the length of the brushes which help in the ease of applying makeup properly. Nice ɓrushes as of yet no problem. Their not as soft as high end ones but not hard nylon like cheap store ones. I use them for eyeshadow, lightly brushing excess powder & blush they are just picking up what their supposed to not breaking it apart like other's if bristles are hard. Only reason not giving 5 is i like a thick stick & these go down to a thin pointy one but its a personal preference.
