I bought two of these for my horse and donkey. They're just the right size for each to have one of their own and super easy to fill. I had another brand previously and they were hard to fill. These have a wide opening and can hold a lot of hay. They've been hanging on nails in my shed for months and my boys haven't torn them or pulled them down even once. Very sturdy and durable. The holes are just right. Not too small to cause frustration and not too big to waste hay. The price for two is very reasonable. If I ever need more I will definitely buy these again! ... show more

My horses go through a lot of slow-feed hay nets as I fill them and then toss them out into pastures/dry lots. These seem nice, with a soft drawstring (helpful that it is a different color). I haven't had them long enough to know how durable they will be, but my horses eventually gnaw holes through any brand. The colors are really nice – I've purchased a couple different ones so far – and are easy to find out in the pastures when hunting for them. ... show more

Very happy with these hay bags. Color is really pretty too, but does get discolored. Haven't washed to see if it will stain. Holding up well so far (about 6 weeks) with 2 minis and 1 regular sized horse. I did retie the black cords because the were too close to the end and looked like they were going to come undone, but since the first time I retied them, I haven't had to again. I originally was looking for 1 inch holes, but I'm happy I got these. They slow down the feeding and reduce waste, but my horses don't seem to mind and don't seem to get frustrated like they do with the 1 inch square bag I also have. Really good value because you get 2 hay bags. I also have more expensive slow feed hay bags (same size holes), but I like these better, and they are usually the first ones eaten. ... show more

These Hay nets are not the same quality as before I have been buying since 2018 . The first thing I noticed was that the tie of the haynet feels like a shoelace or a tie that would come from a pair of sweatpants. But I was all right with it considering the fact that they were going to be long well I have an exact item that I ordered before and it is not 42 in Long the pink ones that I ordered are not 42 in long because the other one was 42 in it is off by like maybe six to eight inches. And I've already used it so I can't get my money back and I wouldn't want the money back I would want to replace them so something needs to come up this because I know you get what you paid for and I pick the pink only to save three dollars. Once upon a Time majestically was the cheapest and the best quality I've been buying quite a few of these not just on this website but on the other websites that sell horse products. I am very disappointed and I hope that in the future when it says 42 inches is going to be 42 in. Make sure the product that's sent out is what I paid for! ... show more

So far they are lasting I use them everyday. I’ve used them the last 3 months stuffing them to the brim with hay. My horses are really rough like I’ve seen some horses and they’ve never particularly destroyed hay nets that were descent.

I own a horse ranch and only use slow feeder as First time I bought the bags they were okay didn’t like the hard string but they worked. Second time string had changed and they were perfect. Next time I ordered they were no longer offering the larger 42 inch bags still ordered but the bags had drastically changed. You couldn’t even open them bc they were so tight, ordered the 42 thru their website to get the larger bags and it was the same issue so tight you couldn’t even put bay in them. Really tried multiple times but they kept changing it. Out of the 6/7 times ordering maybe 2 times were the bags good. You just don’t know what you are going to get. ... show more

So far I like these nets. They are definitely more sturdy than the Tough -1 small feeder nets. Thicker rope and the tie string is much bigger. Initially, it's been hard to get the bags to stay open enough to easily maneuver hay into them but I'm sure they will relax more with use. The only thing thing I don't like is the rope used for the tie string. I love the diameter and that it is a different color than the bag but I think it's the type that will get splintery and break down from the sun eventually. It also slides through the net very easily which is great for tightening the hay bag but a pain when it's constantly coming unwoven from the net while you are filling the nets. Overall these are nice hay bags which I would buy again, especially if the rope is changed in the tie part of the bag. ... show more
