This was for a hot outdoor wedding, the back of this dress is string ties and so a bra with a back would have looked terrible. You can see in the picture that a tiny bit of the clear adhesive wing is showing, but after this I pulled the dress up a bit and tied it a bit tighter and it didn't show at all. I wore it with the clear back strap for another dress that has strangely placed straps and it worked, but was a little uncomfortable because you have to leave the wings on whether you need to use them to hold it up or not and I didn't have any fresh adhesive. This was a great fit, and easy to put on, but if you are using the adhesive, do NOT leave it on for more than a few hours! I made the mistake of wearing it out on a night where I didn't get home til very late, meaning I had it on about 7 hours and the adhesive ripped skin off! Very painful! Not that I'm saying I won't wear it again, but it needs some kind of warning. I'm not sure if this only happened because I have sensitive skin, but just a warning!! Very dissatisfied with this bra. My daughter needed this kind of bra for a dance costume and after wearing for 1 dress rehearsal it broke and it will NOT be easy to sew the strap back in. I needed a bra for my wedding dress and decided I would give this one a chance. The first one I ordered was way to small, but I exchanged it for the next size up and that one fits much better. It is not a totally supportive bra, but it does keep everything corralled.

Works well. Have not tried the "sticky part" though. I needed a bra with clear straps and this one was quality and fit just what I needed it for. I would not try to wear it without the backstrap however. In a large size I don't think it would actually hold
