The Magnetic Wireless MagSafe Charging Pad for iPhone is a great addition to my everyday charging setup for my iPhone 16 Pro Max. TL;DR Well-built MagSafe charging pad with a quality cable, thoughtful design, and solid 15W wireless charging. Requires your own power adapter, but offers excellent value at a much lower price than Apple’s version. I already own several iPhone chargers collected over the years, but I needed an extra wireless charger for our kitchen table, where I spend a lot of time sitting, reading, and checking my phone in the mornings. This charger fits that role perfectly. I also have an Apple MagSafe charger mounted on a stand in my home office, and this charging pad is very similar in both size and functionality. It uses a USB-C connection on an approximately 4-foot cable and includes a USB-C to USB-A adapter, which is a nice touch and makes it compatible with a wider range of chargers. One important thing to note: this product is just the MagSafe charging pad itself. You must supply your own USB power adapter, as none is included. That wasn’t a surprise for me, but it’s worth mentioning so there are no expectations otherwise. Design-wise, this charger looks great. The top features a lightning bolt surrounded by visible copper windings, which gives it a fun, “serious charging” aesthetic. On the underside, there appear to be cooling vents — a smart design choice in my opinion, since heat is the enemy of all electronics. Build quality exceeded my expectations for the price. The charging pad feels solid, and the cable is particularly impressive — thick, durable, and clearly higher quality than the thin cables that often come with budget accessories. The charger outputs up to 15W, so it’s naturally a bit slower than plugging directly into the phone with a high-wattage USB-C fast charger. That said, wireless charging is about convenience, not speed. It’s perfect for overnight charging or casual top-offs where you’re not in a rush. Not everything needs to be microwave-fast. Considering the price, performance, and build quality, this charger is an excellent value and an easy recommendation — especially compared to the much higher cost of Apple’s MagSafe charger. ... show more

AilkinDirect Magnetic Wireless MagSafe Charger for iPhone - This magnetic wireless charger is simple to use and has worked well with my mobile device. Setup was quick, and the charger provides a fast and reliable charge. The charger is a round magnetic pad with an attached 4-foot USB-C cable. It does not include a wall adapter, though I already had compatible adapters available. Once plugged in, the charger attaches securely to the back of the phone, and charging begins immediately. The magnetic connection is strong and holds the phone in place without slipping. The charger is rated at 15W and claims to charge up to 50 percent in about 35 minutes. In my testing, the phone charged approximately 24 percent in 40 minutes. This may be related to the power adapter I used, which may not meet the full recommended output for this charger. I tested the charging pad with my version 17 phone as well as family members’ version 16 and version 14 devices, and it worked consistently across all of them. Overall, this is a solid magnetic wireless charging pad. While it would have been nice if a compatible 15W power adapter were included, the charger itself performs well. I have this charger plugged in behind the couch in my living room so I can plug in easily while watching tv. I didn't want a stand, or something big sitting out there. This is very compact and easy to stow away when not using. An extra bonus of this style of charger is that it's magnetic, so you can stick it to something iron based. Our window frames are made of metal, so I put it up there for easy access to grab the charger without having to dig around for it. It won't start trying to charge unless it's senses a receiver coil, so at this point, the magnets are just magnets, and a convenient solution to storing the charger. ... show more

I was hoping this magnetic wireless charger would be a quick and convenient option, but the charging speed is just too slow. Even though it’s listed as 15W, it takes much longer than expected to bring my iPhone back up. The magnetic alignment is solid 👍 and the build feels good, but the slow performance makes it hard to rely on when I need a fast top‑up. Great concept, disappointing speed. . ... show more

I appreciate that this is a c charger that comes with an attachment to work with usb a. I tried it with both and they both worked fine. The magnetism worked just fine with my magsafe case, and charged as expected. I like the look of the circle in the middle. These charge a bit slower than plugged in, but I like having one with me in case my phone gets the 'water in the charging port' warning sign. This one will live in my backpack. ... show more

It was a little slow to charge up my phone when I had it plugged into a USB socket. Seems to be speedier she. It is plugged into a traditional outlet, though you will need a brick. It plugs into a USB-c by default but has a USB-A adapter. Feels light and keeps falling off my side table when not in use. I picked up this magnetic wireless MagSafe charger to use at my desk and it’s been doing its job without any fuss. The magnet lines up easily with my iPhone and stays in place instead of sliding around. Charging speed feels consistent and reliable, and it also works well with my AirPods.
