    • Works well, bright illumination, but magnets need to be stronger

These are working well in the trunk area of my Subaru Forester, with the only problem being that the magnets are not as strong as they need to be. They don't come loose during driving, but they are easy to dislodge when doing something in the trunk. They will slide sideways with just an accidental bump much easier than they will come loose during hard braking. So it's true, they won't come loose if you slam on the brakes but they might if you nudge them accidentally taking the groceries in. Solution would be a tab or slot to mechanically hold the device in place along with the magnet rather than relying solely on just the force of magnetism. Points given for making the on/off switch use the entire lamp rather than stuff a tiny little slider switch someplace impossible to find in the dark. Overall pleased. ... show more

Purchased this dome light for my side by side UTV, wanted something simple push on and off , rechargeable and the magnet allows you to remove to charge or if you need to walk around with light. Works great, not too bright that it blinds you. Would definitely recommend.
