First product I have found that isn't lying about it's ability to BLOCK light. You can see this test fit worked great with just the corners secured - the lower left is only letting light through bevause it's gaping, unlike the right where it's closer to the wall. It isn't the prettiest thing but it works, and I could easily sew a fabric on top or put a cute curtain over top. I was also able to use ONE product to cover TWO ftx3ft windows (which even spending $50, most curtains do not cover) but cutting this in half right down the middle. The included razor worked great, and while I prefer magnets it also came with velcro if that is preferable. Very easy to set up and worth every penny, despite being lighter and thinner than the 6 other curtains I have tried. Thank you for finally allowing me to sleep comfortably again ... show more

I haven’t installed them the proper way yet. I was desperate and just used push pins, but wow, these are amazing! The blackout capability and temperature control are seriously quality of life changing! I bought these mainly for the temperature control because the house air conditioner is broken and it’s reaching 85/90 degrees in here, I was feeling so ill, these covers have saved my health and my sanity! My pots flares have died down! And my bedroom is completely dark from the window that I have covered with these. They aren’t lookers, so they definitely need nice curtains in front of them, but I’m the only one in my bedroom so their appearance doesn’t bother me because they work so well. I work nights and sleep during the day. I had new windows put in and my blackout roller shade wouldn’t fit in the new windows. I ordered this product and my room is blacker than night! I came back to order for all the bedroom windows. I gave myself about 2 inches extra fabric around all the edges. Easy to measure and cut. You initially peel and stick the thick round magnets on the window frame - try to mount as close to the edge of your window / wall. You are then supposed to peel and stick the thinner round magnets and place on fabric - but don’t do that. Instead mount the thick magnets, then use the thin magnets on the outside of the fabric to trap the fabric between the magnets - this way if you want to adjust the tension of the fabric you can easily adjust, and if you want to take the fabric out of the windows it’s easy. The mounted heavy magnets stay. I am going to size the fabric for my guest room and put up the magnets but not the fabric until needed. This was super cheap compared to blackout shades. I have pull-up slat shades that always hang down in front so you don’t see the blackout fabric when they are closed. My room was cooler within 10 minutes of putting up the fabric in my west facing windows. The silver side is not super reflective so looks fine from the outside. ... show more

Impressive Blackout Solution – Almost Perfect I’ve been using the BKSAI Cuttable Blackout Window Covers for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really pleased with how well they perform. I was searching for a flexible, non-permanent blackout solution for my bedroom and office, and this product mostly delivers on what it promises. One of the standout features is that the material is cuttable, which made it easy to customize the covers to fit my unique window sizes. I appreciated how straightforward the process was—just measure, cut, and stick. The blackout material is thick and effective. Once installed, it made a noticeable difference in blocking sunlight and even helped with temperature control, which was a pleasant surprise. Measure carefully, place mounting equipment carefully, because you don't want to mess this up. I've got a couple of places where light seeps through because I was eyeballing the installation, but it still makes the room comfortably dark when I'm sleeping during the day for night shifts. Also does a wonderful job with the street lights and my neighbor's security light. I put the mounting magnets and velcro out of sight inside the window frame so I can take the thing down and the mounting stuff won't be an eyesore. It does what it said it does for sure. Blocks out light, comes with magnets and adhesives so you can install it on your window. But it does have a very strong fishy smell. Perhaps the neighbor factory that produces these curtains has fish factory and the smell lingers on it. After washing it with soap and water the smell is gone. My curtain had a few tiny pinpoint holes in it which you can see in a total dark room where light comes through a bit. But its not a big deal as the rest of the curtain block out 100% of the light. ... show more

Comes with everything you need to get it set up. Read the instructions to make sure once you put it up, it sticks indefinitely. I had no issues. Carefully measuring your window, and the piece you cut out for that window. will make a difference in how much light is filtered out. It is true that it is 100 percent blackout, but you must make sure you cover the window entirely with the material so little cracks of light don’t seep in around the seems. Unless that doesn’t matter to you. I found this very useful in my camper. I was able to cover two regular camper windows and 1 small camper bathroom window with material to spare. I noticed in the summer it will block out a lot of heat. Make sure the silver side faces the outside part of the window for it to reflect heat. I’ve even noticed it has blocked some of the cold from coming in the windows of the camper during the colder months too. All in all they have held up really well so far without losing any stickiness.
