I received my exhaust system today and when I opened the box, I was so pleased, it was beautiful and I couldn't wait to install it on my '05 Denali. So after work, I did just that, it was a breeze to install and it looked great! So I jumped in my truck and headed home, the exhaust note was sweet and I was a happy man. After pulling up in my driveway, I got out and walked around the back of my truck to gaze upon the beauty of that tailpipe once more and was stopped in my tracks. The tailpipe was no longer that beautiful shiny stainless steel color, it was frickin' GOLD!!!!! I don't want a gold tailpipe!!! My wheels are chrome!! It looks like CRAP!! The manufacturer never mentioned the tailpipe would discolor when it got hot!! No one else mentioned that the tailpipe turned gold on them when they wrote their reviews???? I feel like I've been duped! My truck runs great and is tuned to a tee so it's not like my exhaust is hotter than normal??? If I had known this discoloration was going to happen, I would NOT have made this purchase. This sucks... Now every time I wash and detail my truck, I am going to have to apply a special product to the exhaust tip to (temporarily) get it back to it's original color. Ugh... Okay, after washing my truck several times and and using a product that was recommended on the Magnaflow website, it appears as though the gold discoloration goes away for good.     • Nice sound no loud drone in the vehicle
I got this from a third party on Amazon for $490 total. It retail's for $661 normally which after tax would be right around $700. I'm glad I got it at such a great price. I had it installed the next day at a local muffler shop for $87. I would've tried the install myself but I didn't want to wait until spring. The system went in great. The muffler guy said they usually have to tinker with them but that this system was well designed and easy to install. The sound is a nice rumble when your at idle. I don't want the hot rod super loud exhausts that I had in my early years of driving. This suits the early 30's man I am now. More power better sound. I didn't give it 5 stars because my MPG seems to have dropped which I wasn't expecting. I figured I'd be getting more MPG. To be continued... ... show more

A bit louder in the vehicle than I’d prefer at harder acceleration or high speed. Otherwise pleased.

I put this system on my Yukon and not only does it fit like a glove but it sounds great nice deep rumble im very happy with it. I also installed the Volant cold air intake very nice set up.
