    • SOUNDS GREAT BUT NOT EXTREME
So after the wife said one day that the car could be louder, I did not hesitate. I learned more about mufflers than I care to admit. There are hundreds of options out there. Trust me. Depending on what you want your SC to sound like, it’s a buyers world. I did not want my car to sound like a race car. I find it extremely annoying to get behind one of these cars the goes SNAP, CRACKLE, POP down the road. If that’s what you are looking for then this setup is not for you. You will however notice a nice low rumbling sound but again nothing extreme. The noise inside the car is not annoying but you can hear it. I had mine installed at the local muffler shop for a few hundred bucks because that’s not my bag. Hope this long winded review helps and long live the SC!!! ... show more

They went in easily and bolted up with no issue. Start to finish this job takes about 2 hours. They sound good and have a nice low rumble at idle. A worthy upgrade for the SC430. I recommend.

    • Great looks and sound, plus improved performance
Installed on the Lexus SC430 by a professional shop, the sound is a deep rumble , not loud on the inside at all but when pressing the gas it sounds amazing. The bad part is the clamps that attach the 90 degree elbow with the muffler tip can get loose. I lost one of my tips so had a new wlbow and tip welded on, I recommend you having the muffler shop weld it in place so you don't need to worry about having to re tighten the nuts. I added the Megan Racing y pipe to eliminate the cats, the sound didn't get too much higher but much deeper, than with the stock Y pipe. I really like this exhaust for the SC. ... show more

    • Bad Ass exhaust system
Bad Ass exhaust system, now the Lexus SC430 has a nice low-tone rumble. The manufacturer has not yet did a dyno test on the SC430, most cat-back systems add about 7 percent HP and 7-8% low-end torque. I installed a hi-stall torque converter at the same time, so I am not sure how much get up and go is attributed to just this exhaust upgrade. ... show more

Very nice sound. Deep and classy tone. Look great too! I got it for my 2002 model. Love to drive it more than my 335i convertible stick shift. Recommended.
