This is an unbiased, uncompensated review for adult use for falling asleep. Small unit but carries a big sound. Has plenty of volume to cover outside noises. I need it loud and keep mine at probably 3/4th volume. I found the slightly raised buttons easy to feel and adjust without needing to see at night. There are several settings or frequencies for white noise which I was looking for. Low/deep static, medium, and high. Several fan settings too- Small, large fan etc. with the very slight hum of the motor. Also many other sounds like rain, wind, waves, babbling brook, crackling fire, crickets, ticking clock, morning bird sounds, train (no whistle), soothing music, etc. which I can't imagine falling asleep to any of those sounds, but it has them. I need a droning consistent noise to sleep and this product has that setting in several ways. I used to use a box fan on high, went to an old radio tuned to static stations, and now I will use this. I imagine it's great for travel for hotels or places you stay without feeling you need a box fan to fall asleep. The product is small 3 1/2"× 3 1/2"× 2 1/2" and easily portable. I'm a very sensitive sleeper and had bought another machine that used a loop of the sound. I kept anticipating that loop in my mind every 6 minutes and it ruined my sleep. This product DOES NOT loop. There's also no distracting lights displayed. There is one small LED to signify the timer setting, but it isn't distracting, at least to me. Once you find the sound you want and volume, it will keep both settings when you turn unit back on (plugged in or not). You don't need to search and scroll through all the options everytime to find your sound. You can use the sound continuously on all night and don't have to use the timer at all. Overall pleased with the product and wished I found it earlier.

It's super small but super loud. The controls are easy to understand. You can throw the instructions away after reading them the first time. It's honestly that easy. When you do find the sound you like, the box remembers it even when it's powered off so you don't have to keep flipping through each sound to find it, and also remembers your timer and sound preferences. I mean, some of these are so loud and tingles your ears that you swear you were listening to ASMR without the headphones. Which made me wonder why no one has really done that yet. I would LOVE to see tapping, ear picking and other sounds on here. It's honestly a really good purchase and I highly recommend it. For how small it is, it is super strong.

I have six kids ages 5 months to 8 years. I always thought a sound machine was for quitters and, until now, didn’t want to waste money on something I didn’t need. Holy crap I was wrong! On one very hard night with the 5 month old I rolled her crib into our master bathroom and turned the shower on. She fell instantly asleep. I quickly realized that I couldn’t just leave the shower on so I used my phone with a YouTube video “10 hours of shower”. Using your phone as a sound machine is impractical and thus I broke and bought this thing. Zero regrets! Works great. I guess I’m a quitter.

Comes with 40 sounds and is small abs portable. I bought two more for each of my kids rooms after my first purchase. The only con is you have to cycle through all sounds to get to the one you want but it doesn’t take long. I leave mine on the same sound so I just turn it on and off in the evening/morning.

I certainly can’t listen to the half dozen water/rain/waves sounds without waking up to pee… but the white noise, and fan settings work great for me. I did leave a pine scented candle burning while listening to a crackling fire and work up in a gawd awful panic. I’m currently enjoying the train sound (no toot toot, just the steady sound of the wheels going round and round). I’d have given 5 stars but I don’t like having to cycle though 39 sounds to change the setting.
