  • Great commander precon, straight out of the box!
Style: Card Game
Great deck! First precon, but I already had quit a bit of knowledge about Magic the gathering. It's honestly great out of the box, I played a few games as is and my only tip is the same as someone else posted here. Swap doomscourge for kaervek if it's a 1v1 if you're playing with against 2 or more people then definitely use doomscourge(the foil commander it portrays on the box) seriously super fun deck, I like some of the combos you can do. ... show more

  • Chaos Destruction / Kaervek the Merciless
Style: Card Game
This is an awesome starter deck. It has a ton of lands and is true to its name, Chaos Destruction. The only recommendation I have is to switch out the commander they have picked for you with Kaervek the Merciless. Kaervek costs more but is worth getting him out because whenever an opponent casts a spell, Kaervek does damage equal to that spell’s mana value to any target. This card is also included with this commander deck. Do this and your deck will play a lot better. Oh and one more time, this deck is true to its name and you will most likely be the threat at the table having fun with this precon. ... show more

  • Can't go wrong with it, really great for the price
Style: Card Game
Iixed it with the duskmourn precon to make really good deck, but it's really good on its own out of the box too. Better than the duskmourn red/black i'd say and around 1/3 the price. Really satisfied with it and I never much liked red until now.

Good price for magic, sucks that he's not a winning deck more of make everyone else fight

  • Bang for your Buck
Style: Card Game
I have around 25 precons that I let everyone in my pod use for our biweekly bracket 2 games. This deck is a really great deal, and in my opinion, hits harder than any of the other Starter Commander Decks. One member of our pod loves black-red, and uses this deck frequently; every time it terrorizes the entire table. Kardur allows you to avoid damage, while the 99-cards let you dish it out in the meantime. The player that prefers this deck is both new to the game and severely dyslexic, this deck is a great combination of simple and effective that allows him to win occasionally. One note, this deck's power increases with a larger pod, probably not worth playing in a 3-player commander game. ... show more
