I love the drapes! They arrived in 4 days and everything stated would be included was. Colors and size were accurate. NOT BLACKOUT, I don't care. The important thing to me is you can't see through them since they are covering a large picture window on the front of my home. This window gets the morning sun; I like it filtering through a bit. One of the seams is a little puckered, but I think if I took the time to iron them it would iron out. I did purchase metal hooks (minor expense) to hang them; the plastic hooks included didn't seem to be substantial enough, but they might have been. Since I've just hung them I haven't a clue how they do with cold and heat, but they are thick enough that I believe they will help. I would purchase from Magic Drapes again.

I purchased 52" x 54" curtains in beige, white, ivory, light blue, and royal blue for a living room and bedroom. I'm still waiting for the royal blue set to arrive for the bedroom. Pros: 1. I absolutely love the material. It feels like sateen - very soft and silky - and gives the room an elegant appearance. 2. Double pleats were perfect for hanging from a track and were easy to hang. 3. The beige and light blue colors block out nearly 100% of the light that gets past the window shade. 4. They effectively block the cold air draft from the wall AC unit and windows. 5. Customer service was responsive, but not necessarily helpful. Cons: 1. The plastic hooks provided for use with a traverse rod/track don't hold the curtains up at all. I used the hardware provided with the track I purchased instead. 2. The white curtains were 2" longer than the size I ordered so I returned them. 3. The white and ivory curtains block approximately 50% of the light that gets past the window shade 4. Price, shipping, and stock were hit or miss for each color. Summary: After a bit of trial and error (product measurements and light blocking effectiveness) I'm very pleased with the products I kept for the living room (beige and light blue). Double pleat curtains *not* made from linen are hard to find and the average price point of these curtains is much lower than similar products.

Disappointed. I really like the fabric and look, but actual size across the top was deceiving. "21+21" really didn't make any sense when I was reading. It SHOULD have just stated that each panel of a 42 inch panel is really only 21 inches at the top & only has 4 pleats!

These drapes were purchased for the windshield of my parent’s motorhome. The drapes have 3 adjustments for length which allowed me to actually have between 43 1/2-45” drapes. They worked perfectly for insulating, light blocking and privacy needs for motorhome living.

Make sure you check your panel size and do your whole window length because I got two panels that were supposed to be 52 in long each but instead I've got these tiny curtains that don't even fill a quarter of my window because they split the 52 in in half and then I ended up getting two 27-in panels

These were much better quality fabric than most on the market, with true pinch-pleats, which are perfect for my 1960s house with its original traverse rods. To make them hang correctly, I didn't use the cheapo awful plastic hooks provided, but used the old-fashioned (short) drapery pins. They just barely covered the rod by putting the pins at the very bottom of the drapery header tape, not higher up where the loops are. Also, read the description--it tells you honestly that these "blackout" curtains are actually only 70-80% blackout, with lighter colors like the beige ones I got obviously less opaque. For my purposes, they're EXACTLY what I wanted, enough to keep out the heat of the sunset on the front room of my house but not enough to make it look like a cave in that room. Neither of my packages came with the promised tiebacks but I don't care about that because I wouldn't use them in this room anyway. Overall I'm VERY happy with this purchase except that I didn't realize until I came to put this review on that buying the next larger size would have saved me almost $20 a pair. I'm not going to the trouble of returning them, but don't understand why 10" thinner panels should cost $10 more each than the larger size. That stinks.
