I washed the MAGCOMSEN Lightweight Cardigan in my washing machine on cold gentle cycle in wash bag and left spread out on a towel to dry. Some of the wrinkles from shipping came out, but not all. Did not attempt cool iron as tag suggests or steam iron yet. No change in color noted. No transfer of color seen on wash bag or older clothes of similar color that got washed at the same time. Victoria Blue color is very nice, but not quite as dark as the photo of the model showed. Fabric is soft. While the is sweater tappers in at the bottom, the fabric gets wider across where my torso actually tappers inwards, adding the appearance of some bulk. It’s not a particularly flattering cut, like the opposite of slim fit. The arms are a little long, but not outrageous or unusual for being 5’4”. I did not see a size chart when ordering or placing this review. I got a US size small, my typical size and I also usually wear a size 4, 32B. It’s a bit roomy, but I don’t look like I’m drowning in it. I don’t expect this to be the kind sweater that will get compliments, but it will serve its function as a practical layering piece.

I needed a classic black cardigan for spring, and this sweater is classic cardigan design. The fabric is lightweight, soft and comfortable. I was able to steam out the packing wrinkles in about 2 minutes, so it seems this fabric will be fairly easy to maintain. I accidentally ordered a large when I normally wear a medium in sweaters. Although the arm length is a bit long, I can roll the cuff slightly. The shoulder seams are about the right place, and I'm wearing this with a bulkier sleeveless top so a medium may not have allowed that. I'm 5'3" 133 lbs with a thicker middle. I wear the sweater open rather than buttoned at the top, although I'm sure it would look nice that way as well. There just isn't anything so far that I don't like about this sweater, and I'm so glad I ordered it.

For a gray cardigan, this one is very pretty. Very soft too, and fits nicely, perhaps a little on the generous side which is rare in clothing today. It holds it shape all day long and I find that it fits in the Goldilocks category, not too heavy, not too light, just right. If you are clever with your wardrobe, this cardigan can take your clothing to another level while mixing and matching things up a little, which is never a bad thing in a woman's closet.
