did you want pockets. you got em. they don't take it overboard with the pockets and layers like the 5.11 stuff or put 13 different spots to hold your pen. I have never needed a pen........ i have never needed 13 pens in the line of fun I have. Not long story shorter, they are great shirts. It kept me cool and not smelly on a 48 hr OP where I should have been hot and rank. The 'velcro' patch panel is technically small if you have big patch but for a normal sized unit patch its perfect, besides you should be stitching on your patch anyway you heathens.

I wasn’t expecting much from this shirt, but it’s hard to beat at the price. However, it still has some room to be excellent. I am 180lbs., 6’ tall 32” waist with an athletic build. I needed this to fit snugly to go under body armor. I bought the US Medium based on other reviewers. This is the perfect size in the chest, shoulders and arms. However, the trunk is still a little baggy. I don’t think I could go down to a Large because the shoulders and armpits would be too tight. The arms are perfect, but if you have bulging biceps, you may want to size up. Unlike other combat shirts I have used, there is no stretch to the diameter of the arms. The loop panel on the sleeves is WAY to small to be useful for anyone other than airsofters. I will have to have larger panels sewn on to take my department patches. This somewhat negates the value of the shirt and caused me to buy a couple more expensive options that will accept my shoulder patches. The collar on this shirt is great if you wear it down most of the time. It actually lays flat. In my use, I keep my collar down and tucked under my armor for a neater appearance. If you wear the collar up often, you will find that there is no flap to protect your throat from the zipper like you find on higher end shirts. It’s not Crye Arc’teryx or UF Pro, but it’s short sleeve and a fraction of the price. I hope that it holds up for a few months of constant use. If so, then they are worth the price. Just PLEASE USE LARGER LOOP PANELS on the next version.

I wear these underneath an outer vest with hard plates and they hold up really well. They don’t fray easily and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable and affordable.
