The case is light and sturdy, comes with two sets of bows, and the smell of the wood from the violin was very nice. Some smaller violins lack the deep richness of sound, but this violin, despite its' small size, sounds amazing! Got this for my wife. She has played since 9 and plays in a neighborhood orchestra. Really wanted her to have a decent quality spare for her boutique primary violin. She has proclaimed this to be a full equal to that primary violin. I'm not in her league as a musician and certainly not a violinist, but definitely what I hear seems to be full and rich as well.
