Have you ever wondered how baby socks feel with the non-slip grip well these socks do exactly that they have non-slip grip at the bottom that feels like gel not like literally silky moist gel like it's a gel texture that you would feel on some letters on clothing when walking you can actually feel the gel non-slip texture at the bottom of your foot when walking on hardware floor when walking on carpet it's like stepping on a shirt you can feel something pushing against your foot but it's not uncomfortable they're soft and they go up to your ankles around your ankles you get this nice little snug tight feeling that makes it feel like someone is holding on to your ankles as you're walking or laying down I can't express how much I like these socks they are so comfortable I haven't washed and dried them yet they are actually in the washing machine as we speak just the washing machine is not on right now LOL so I'm not sure if it keeps the same texture after washer and dry but I will update this post and let you guys know however you will not be disappointed you only get one pair for the price that's a little steep but for the texture and the non-grip filling because I hate feeling like I'm going to fall after I mop my Hardware floor or I'm walking outside on my black sleek porch always feel like I'm going to fall with these I feel more safety when walking my fiance was jealous he kept saying those socks are for men you need to go ahead and give them to me so unfortunately I have to order him some now LOL they're awesome you would definitely make these your favorite pair of socks ... show more

These are pretty good quality socks. They aren't really thick, so they don't do a lot as far as keeping your feet warm. They Do have a really good stretch to them and fit great. The grip on them is Amazing. They basically Stick to tile and wood floors. Do NOT try the "Risky Business" move while wearing these. The grip is something else and you'll end up face-planting on the floor. When you walk across the floor, you almost have to peel your foot off of the floor because the grip is so sticky. These are excellent for yoga and workouts. Perfect if your feet slide around in your shoes. Not a sock that I would use for everyday wearing, however, if I need GRIP...these are the "Go To" socks. I ordered these socks for day-to-day use in the house. Our floors can be slippery, so these are perfect for preventing mishaps. I realize that’s not sport-related, but it definitely is practical. I have to say, these socks are exceptionally comfortable. The fabric is thick, so these are great at keeping my feet warm. The elasticity is top notch. These socks were built to last, so zero sagging. I wear a men’s size 8, and it’s difficult to find socks that truly fit well. I got these socks in a size medium, and they are perfect! UPDATE: EXCELLENT FOR OUTDOOR SPORTS SUCH AS HIKING Today I wore with these socks while hiking in the rain. Paired with my hiking boots, these were awesome! The anti-slip grips work really well at stabilizing and aiding traction. They are absorbent so they kept my feet dry. They are thick enough to protect the back of my heel from blisters that could occur from my foot rubbing against the inside of the boot. Additionally, they provide an extra layer of padding that really complements the padding in my boots. My feet were nice and cozy. OUTSTANDING! Overall, I am impressed with this product. I’m not an athlete, but I’ve played enough golf in the past to have these anti-slip ankle socks catch my attention. Whether on those wet, dewy mornings or those steamy, hot afternoons on the golf course, it was generally a given that my shoes, socks and feet would be saturated by the end of the round. Spikes on golf shoes help keep a golfer’s feet firmly planted. But while they help keep the shoes from pivoting, they do nothing to keep the golfer’s foot in place inside the shoe. So right out of the chute, socks that are laden with non-slip rubber pads just made sense to me as a comfortable alternative to trying to stabilize the foot with shoes that are overly tight. The socks are very well made, providing mild compression and a rugged but breathable and flexible fabric. But best of all, they offer benefits both on and off the field of play. No, I’m not on the golf course much these days, but as a would-be member of the senior circuit, these socks really up my personal safety game on my home field by helping me navigate slick linoleum surfaces and hardwood floors around the house. ... show more

Hard to tell if they give better grip when playing sports as I keep my shoes tied tight to prevent movement. Cushioning looks robust but doesn't feel as good as it looks when running or walking. Some dirt and debris, especially fine dust, clings to the sticky rubbery surface when wearing without shoes but comes clean without issue after washing. Pros Ankle is angled to my natural foot than most of my cheap socks but not quite as good as my best fitting sock (see first picture). Gives you some extra grip when walking in socks on slippery floor surfaces like tile. Feet slide around less when wearing sandals due to rubber grips on socks. Cons Stink more than my other socks. Not as breathable as other cotton socks I have Leave black marks on light colored insoles that are hard to clean (see second picture) ... show more
