This duvet cover is very nice and fits our Decour perfectly. It reminds me of my grandma‘s old bedspread. Ha which like everything comes back around. It is definitely a modern farmhouse look. It is relatively soft, bright, white, and medium weight. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that it does shed initially. Plan on washing it a couple of times before putting it on your bed. Prepare to clean your dryer lint catcher at least four times during the drying. I cut it in quarters to customize it but was disappointed when I saw the sheer polyester overlay that's between the shell and the stuffing. The stuffing feels like what's inside a stuffed toy. All that combined makes the product not breathable. It explains why it felt the same as the cheap polyester comforter that we have, only heavier. If you want 100% cotton and 100%wool, this isn't it. If you’ve ever owned chenille fabric, this is not it… When they say 100% Cotton, then mean.. 100%. It’s very heavy, hot, and feels like a towel. Imagine you took a warm towel from the dryer and then laid it ontop of yourself. That’s what this is. The tufted chenille literally just feels like a towel. So.. is it cute? Yes, totally! It definitely fit what I was looking for! But it feels like a towel and not like chenille. The pillow cases are.. scratchy? I mean.. I wouldn’t lay my head on a warm towel at night.
