Not sure what I expected, but this surprised me. It is a very nice set. The tufting seems fine all over. Nice set with the dust ruffle and pillows. My color is blush, and looks fabulous for everyday use. I bought a second set as they are on sale. I have pets, and this way I have a second set for quick changes, that way my bedroom is always beautiful. You cannot beat the price right now. Not sure all colors don't have a king size, but I like larger comforters, So I was planning on ordering a king set for my spare. But none are available. So get this one while you can. Great for a guest room, a gift, or, for yourself. Update: have had this set for some time, tiny 5 lb dogs love it too. I put a little doggie cover over top for my Maltese, and she repeatedly rolls up the doggie cover to get to the feel of this Set. I have washed this many many times and it comes out perfect, wrinkle free each time and looks new. This material is a Faux Silk. As such it sews well, looks good, perfect for many things. The pillows are nicce and look great as well. My only con and it is strictly my preference, is that they are not large enough. I like them to be longer and wider to comfortably fit the bed and show it off well. Higher priced ones are larger dimensions, so, they save somewhere. I love having a spare set to wash and reset my bed without having to wait for the process. I prefer to set the bed right away. This set survives pets, washes well, looks great with minimal effort.

Beautiful and just as described. Mine did come with a random nail in the velvet but once I pulled out you couldn’t tell. The drawers are wonderful for storage and it is a nice quality for the price. Perfect for my guest bedroom.

This comforter has a soft underside. The top has a but of a sheen to it and is a coarser fabric than the underside. i have read complaints of this. But it is simply so that the tuck and pin effect is more striking and the corners are stiff enough to hold corner shape like in photos. Is a gorgeous plum color. Very good price. The piping is not white. In some photos it appears to be white but it is actually light silver which worked perfectly with my accents. Comes with a dust ruffle and shams and also three decorative throw pillows in different shapes. These are purple and light silver. Shams are also the pin tuck material. I use plain pillows in these for decorative purposes only so they will not need to be washed every few days and wind up faded compared to the comforter. I got this set as it was on sale and to put inside a duvet cover. It works well for that but we like this set better than the duvet cover set and wound up using this set instead. It is made better. I recommend flicking it into place rather than tugging into place to smooth simply because pin tucking can pop stitches. I havent had this problem but i am not excessively violent with ut either. I read complaints of this. Which could be reinforced if neccessary but so far after almost two months of daily use i have not had any issues. I wanted to include photos with natural lighting to help people make the choice if this was right for them but I am not seeing an option to do so. The pin tuck look also helps hide wrinkles as significant other is a violent sleeper and crumples the comforter to the foot of the bed nightly. Is very warm. I wanted something fluffy and this is fluffy which looks great when making the bed but will be too much in the summer. I plan to use a lighter blanket as a cover as it looks so good when the bed it made. It definitely holds the corners up like in photos because of the fluffiness and top fabric. Wash in cold water and line dry. Any fluffy comforter will bunch in a dryer if not done properly. Especially a large size comforter. Measure mattress and how far you want it to go down the sides. I ordered a size larger because of having a double pillow top mattress so the mattress is very thick and i like my comforters to drape down the sides.

We have had this set for about 2 weeks now, and for the most part, are in love. We have not put the bedskirt on due to getting our bed set up before this arrived, and it being very heavy to lift. ;) Overall it is a good set; however, not sure the price of the product is fair to the comfort nor the reinforcement of the stitching in the comforter. Very elegant and the extra throw pillows give that added touch. Pros: -Comforter is depicted exactly how it appears. -Very soft and warm underside. -Pillow cases fit king size pillows perfectly -Comforter fits just enough to hang off the sides neatly and looks beautiful Cons: -gatherings do fall apart rather quickly; could stand to be reinforced better so they do not come apart. (as some areas become flat while others are still bunched together) -pillow shams are rough on the top. (We only sleep with one pillows, so our choice is to have the sham to complete the set and it be rough, or a regular pillowcase and softness. -fitted sheet fits; however, comes off of the pillow top mattress easily due to the depth of mattresses with pillow tops

This comforter set looks just as it does in the product picture. I was a little scared it was not going to actually look purple but it matches the other items in my room perfectly. The package came within the given time frame. I ordered a King and the bed skirt is a little to big but I just put the side with the extra material on the side of the bed that is along the wall. I also order matching curtains and this transformed my room without having to paint! The comforter itself is thick and soft on the side facing down to your bed. The top side has a shiny gloss that is not to bold but just enough to add class. You do not need a blanket under the comforter as this comforter most definitely keeps you warm throughout the night. I couple of nights I have had to kick off the comforter and turn on my ceiling fan. That's saying A LOT since I am normally cold all of the time. My only warning is to be careful when making your bed...do not pull the comforter as this pops the stitching. I have to carefully slide the comforter to not pop stitching. Otherwise, pillows and shams were fine. I love it and do not regret my purchase.
