Quite honestly, I'm surprised at how good this coverlet turned out to be. I bought this 3 years ago and it is still in excellent shape. I have a child and a cat so it gets plenty of abuse and it gets washed often but it's still white, intact, comfy, and looks great (including the shams). The size is exactly right for my Queen mattress on a platform bed frame. It almost reaches the floor on 3 sides. The tassels have not come undone or torn. Yes, it is lightweight, but it is supposed to be so I don't understand the reviews that are shocked by this fact. None of the sewing/seams have come undone and I'm not doing anything special with it in the wash - I started out washing it on delicate but over the years just throw it in on the regular cycle. It also states not to bleach it on the tag but, like I said I do have a cat and a kid, so I have used bleach and it comes out perfect. Yes, there was a good bit of fluff coming off it in the very beginning but it's definitely not an issue now and it doesn't look any less fluffy than in the beginning. Now, the only fluff I see is in the dryer lint trap. I've had an Amazon account for over 20 years and this has to be in the top 5 of things I've ever bought on Amazon. I LOVE this comforter for our bed. Super light weight and basically just for looks with our very thick electric blanket and sheets underneath. We got it in dark grey, and it's beautiful.

The bedding is beautiful and lightweight. It’s very thin. So much white lint comes off of it. After washing it twice, my hair, my clothes, and anything else I put on the bed is covered in white fuzzies.

Love this bedspread. Love the design, tassels, feel, color, and weight. If only it didn't rip with the minimal of use. I ordered one king & upon washing did not find the common complaint of pilling nor excess fuzz. I put it on our bed & it was lovely. It ripped the first night of use. The area in between the chenille is very fragile. So thinking it was a manufacture flaw I returned it for a replacement. Same thing happened with the next one. Of course past the return allowance. I found a needle and thread at the store & proceeded to sew it. Took a few hours, which could have been me since I don't know the last time I sewed something. Was pleased with the result, couldn't even tell on close inspection. Not 3 nights later it ripped in entirely different place. Very disappointed. I went back as I was surprised I had not read about the ripping issue in the reviews & found most people bought for a guest room. Don't blame your guests it's the quilt! ... show more

I ordered this bed set for my queen-sized guest bedroom. I have to say it is definitely oversized, but I don't mind that at all. If anything I personally prefer oversized. When I opened the bed set and fluffed out the cover, I did notice a little bit of shedding. I put the set in the washer and dryer, and that helped tremendously. I was able to make the bed without any shedding. (My dryer also did a hell of a job removing all the excess). Over all I love the look and feel of the bed set! Super lightweight, I don't like comforters. In the winter you MAY need an extra blanket (maybe..we shall see) but I'm quite content with this purchase. I'm actually thinking about buying this same set for my own master bedroom! *Disregard the mess and missing floor lol, the room is a little under construction* ... show more
