I love this bedding set, it is the second one I have purchased. It is the best quality and the first one lasted me over 5 years. The comforter is super soft, fluffy and warm. The comforter is easy to wash, but does not fit in my standard washing machine so I have to take it to the laundry mat. This is a truly pretty complete comforter set. It's ironic that it's called Central Park set because I worked in Central Park Conservancy in New York City (20 years ago!) and have fond memories of it. I love the comforter in this set because it is both truly pretty and very soft. Unfortunately the sheets are not soft - while they are pretty (see picture of them up close) and a simple grey zig zag, they are not very soft :-( that's the only reason I am deducting one star. The pillow cases and shams (cover pillow cases) are lovely but VERY long - I guess because it's a California King the pillows are long? I don't know, all I know is this set is really worth the money and it's for my Mom. I nearly pulled my back setting this set up (I had to raise the mattress to fit the underskirt in) but it was worth it because I don't think my Mom has changed her comforter in over 20 years (yes, she's washed it) and since my Dad passed I want her to have some lightness in her bedroom. Well, she loves it, I changed it on her while she was sitting on the couch getting ready for her favorite show Jeopardy and when she got up to use her bathroom in her bedroom she didn't say anything! So I was like "Um, Mom did you even look at your bed?" and then she was like "Oh my goodness!" Now she keeps saying she owes me and I keep telling her I charged it on her card ha ha. She has some dementia so it's often "Groundhog Day" for me but if it makes her happy? It's worth it. Overall this is a really beautiful set - I would encourage the sellers to look into getting softer sheets. Their comforter is so soft - so not sure why the sheets aren't. I would think if something were to be soft - the sheets would be the most important thing right? ... show more

This bed in a bag was better than expected! Soft cool material. Kept my husband and I cool and comfortable all night. And that's saying a lot when you are going through menopause. Beautiful colors.. Went perfect with my costal decor! Will definitely buy again!

This comforter set is well made and looks great. I really like the color combination and the fact that it looks as good on my bed as it did in the photos online. The matching sheets and pillow cases are a great bonus and make it an even better value. I also appreciate that it only includes one throw pillow (because I am not a throw pillow kind of guy). I bought the king size, and everything fits perfectly. It did need ironing after being removed from the package, but the wrinkles came out quickly and easily. I bought this set to match a large picture on my wall. I also thought it would go with my rug and valances. With that being said, it was not my first choice, but it allowed me to work with the items that I already have. As another reviewer said, the sheets are a bit scratchy, even after washing. A plus is that the sheets are large enough to fit on my king bed. Often bed sets have sheets that barely stretch over the corners of the bed and constantly come off. The comforter is soft and looks very nice. After washing the sheets and getting the dust ruffle under the mattress, I JUST noticed that the shams do not match. Both shams are more like pillow cases rather than a decorative sham, but they are 2 different cases/shams, 1 has outside border flap that most shams have and the other does not AND is a lighter color. How do I get a set of matching shams? It would be too much trouble to make a return at this point. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you. I added the 2 photos to show the difference in the 2 shams. Not only is 1 trimmed and 1 is not, but they are more like pillow cases (same material as the sheets), rather than decorative shams. I also added a photo of the made bed. I added decorative pillows (also from Amazon) and I think it looks nice. The comforter is very soft and light. I wish the shams matched, but I can disguise them. Def would bring my review up to a 4 or a 5, as would good customer service. ... show more
