This set is lovely. The colors are as shown on the photos (I purchased navy). It came in good condition, a few sewing strings that needed snipped but nothing out of the ordinary. The sheet set is soft, and seems of average quality for the price. The comforter is mid-weight and not too heavy. Seems like it will work well for most seasons, or with an additional blanket in wintertime. The curtains are basic, and as others stated, they are sheer and do allow a good deal of light through. If you are looking for room darkening curtains, these included ones are not of that caliber. Overall very impressed and pleased with the purchase for the price. It's not going to last forever with regular use, but for the price, I expect to change it out in a few years. Would definitely consider other Madison Park items. ... show more

This is a really beautiful set, and you get a large quantity of items for the price. With that said: it feels absolutely awful to the touch. You know that weird fibrous material that's on the underside of a box spring? That's what the shams and curtains feel like. The sheets are better, but not good. I've just ordered some bamboo sheets that will coordinate nicely with the comforter and other pieces, and the price of them, added to this set, is still substantially lower than a high quality set from Macy's, so I'll take it. Just be aware that these are a purchase for aesthetics, not comfort. ... show more

Update After 2 1/2 Year's it still looks like new and I have no complaints whatsoever like I said previously if you wash it with care on GENTLE CYCLE like your supposed to you shouldn't have any issues with threads falling out or it falling apart I'm still very happy with this product and that goes for both sets every thing from both sets is still intact beautifully!!! Extremely satusfied with this set i ordered the king size set for my Queen bed because i like the extra size. The curtains are nice but too sheer for me but those were easily replaced by nicer ones from a major bed and bath store so it shouldn't be a huge issue for anyone who can afford this really. Every thing is made from Quality fabric the Pillows and Shams are just too beautiful to describe and the material for the underside of the comforter is so silky soft and smooth it feels like my hotel collection sheets from a store that rhymes with Jaycees. I will say that i dont like white sheets they should be Navy blue or brown but for a cheap set of sheets they do feel very soft i also read some reviews that the comforter falls apart in the wash remember that somthing like this should only be washed on a gentle cycle including the pillows and shams i have a beautiful croscill set thats 18 years old and still looks new because i only wash it on a gentle cycle in cold water...finally in closing id like to say If you like this set buy it!! With proper care im sure it will last for many many years to come. ... show more

This is a great (heftyish) bedding set. And I love it so far. I gave it 4 stars for softness because the 'jacquard' texture makes it a bit coarse, but not at all abrasive. It feels smooth and durable to the touch. The comforter has a bit more weight to it than my last set (though my last set was cheap, couldn't even wash it 🤢). I'll probably be having to kick it off me during the summer. The decorative pillows were fluffy when opening the package. Though I was not able to use the Euro shams (dont have pillows like that), nor the curtains. I only have one window in my bedroom and these curtains are too big and fancy for it! Only negative I do have, is that the fitted sheet fit is off.. it took me a while to figure out the best way to put it. Its not as deep pocketed as I'm used. ... show more

The material is extremely cheap...the curtains aren't even hemmed...in my opinion not even worth 1 star...paid a ton of money for it ...very disappointed...I kept it because we were moving to a new home and never opened the box after receiving it till we were moved in and by then I just wanted to have my room put together....can't wait to replace it.. ... show more
