I bought a King size for just under $100. I'd buy it again, for that price! Pro's: The cover is incredibly soft. The shams are incredibly soft. The decorative pillow is embroidered, not just a print. Cons: Sheet quality: are low quality/coarse. What do you expect? Lol you could spend more than this on a decent set of sheets. Sizing: The blanket/comforter is *just barely* sized to come down to the bottom of my mattress (it's about 14" thick). I could just barely make hosptal corners on the flat sheet, but there's nothing to tuck under on the comforter. This could be a plus if you don't want to bother tucking and don't want extra fabric hanging loose. Colors: I feel the dark color was supposed to be black, but the cartridge ran out of toner. It's a green. The sheets and skirt are gray so it's like the comforter should have gray in it, but it's really a white/tan/green scheme on the blanket. That's ok! But not obvious in the photos.

This is a truly pretty complete comforter set. It's ironic that it's called Central Park set because I worked in Central Park Conservancy in New York City (20 years ago!) and have fond memories of it. I love the comforter in this set because it is both truly pretty and very soft. Unfortunately the sheets are not soft - while they are pretty (see picture of them up close) and a simple grey zig zag, they are not very soft :-( that's the only reason I am deducting one star. The pillow cases and shams (cover pillow cases) are lovely but VERY long - I guess because it's a California King the pillows are long? I don't know, all I know is this set is really worth the money and it's for my Mom. I nearly pulled my back setting this set up (I had to raise the mattress to fit the underskirt in) but it was worth it because I don't think my Mom has changed her comforter in over 20 years (yes, she's washed it) and since my Dad passed I want her to have some lightness in her bedroom. Well, she loves it, I changed it on her while she was sitting on the couch getting ready for her favorite show Jeopardy and when she got up to use her bathroom in her bedroom she didn't say anything! So I was like "Um, Mom did you even look at your bed?" and then she was like "Oh my goodness!" Now she keeps saying she owes me and I keep telling her I charged it on her card ha ha. She has some dementia so it's often "Groundhog Day" for me but if it makes her happy? It's worth it. Overall this is a really beautiful set - I would encourage the sellers to look into getting softer sheets. Their comforter is so soft - so not sure why the sheets aren't. I would think if something were to be soft - the sheets would be the most important thing right?

I bought this bedding to replace my old set yet still match my aqua curtains and it isn't disappointing. The comforter is very fluffy without being heavy. The sheets and pillowcases are made of a rougher cotton but my hope is that they will hold up to a family of 4 spending every night snuggled up together to watch a movie before bedtime. I love the accent pillow. The design is embroidered so it looks very classy. The colors: the white is very pure, the gray is on the cool side and the aqua is true to the product photographs. I'm so glad this came with a bed skirt. That's one thing my previous bedding lacked. The fitted sheet has elastic all around and will easily fit pillow top mattresses. I think this is a worthy buy.

So while the comfort and feel of the comforter itself is great, the sheets are sand papery. Also I was very disappointed to see a question about whether the dark color was black or not getting a “black not green” answer on here, only to find out that it is super green, NOT BLACK in person. Yeah t doesn’t look bad or anything, just not ideal. That’s what took this review to 2 instead of 3 stars. When it comes to washing, as a dog owner, I am finding that the fur really clings to the comfortor. Comes off of sheets fine but for some reason it’s pretty dang static-stuck to the comforter. I’ve never had that issue with my dryer or other comforters- must but the material? Not a big deal since I live with a shedding dog but I definitely don’t let her sleep on the bed when this comforter set is in use anymore. Price was great though and it is warm but not hot, something I’m particular about when I sleep.

I absolutely love this comforter. I had previously painted the walls and I have mid-century Danish modern furniture. I was lucky to find something that matches perfectly with the time period of furniture and the accent walls! I do not cover with this comforter, it is just for show. I have a gray one underneath that I cover with. Because it only has pin tucks instead of rows of stitching, I will definitely use the laundromat when it needs to be laundered on delicate and fluff it in the dryer on low. It comes with cotton sheets which is awesome.

This comforter set is VERY cheaply made.. the sheets fell apart before I could even use them.. loose strings everywhere. You get better quality at Walmart for $20 than this set. TERRIBLE!! AND I HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING FOR A RETURN!! DO NOT BUY!! Terrible quality and terrible customer service!
