matches my master bedroom suite color scheme even better than i thought it would! But its a very nice, much more "lacy and flowery" type patterns that almost at first make it look like a fake Oriental-style comforter. BUT then when you put it on your bed, for mine it was the California King sized one, and when the bed is made and the throw pillows are placed back onto the bed (and I have others that also match just by chance, and I have those on a fully upholstered bench that is on one of the sizes of my bed against the wall. So it almost looks like a high-end hotel suite when I walk in now! Before this I had a comfortable comforter, but it must have been cheaply made because I had it for about 6 months and by the end of that time the threading had come apart so far that there was a 2-inch hole in the top of the comforter. I was upset when I saw that because I knew I would have to replace it and it was so big and fluffy and comfy - but then this came and I can tell the stitching is NOT going to come apart on this much more durable as well as fluffy and comfy and again, adds that bit of culture or, I don't know, classiness to the room more than anything because its not like putting a Nautica Comforter, or a lumpy-goose down comforter, or a solid-color... its dynamic color and the deep red/burgundy stripes helps to really make the small little red stitchings all throughout the comforter pop and it looks very nice. I will say, I don't know if it would look as good on anything smaller than a Queen Size because it would narrow the space btw the 2 red stripes and would probably look more like that faux-antique look all throughout. But I love it and am very pleased.

This is my third time buying this Madison King Set. First one I replaced due to redecorating (Slate Blue to Rusty Red), the second due to a move (new house, new bedding) and the latest due to COVID (germaphobe). Each set lasted for over two years and still looked new when replaced. But here are the main reasons I keep buying this bed set: It’s very durable, doesn’t pull or snag, colors don’t fade, washed & dries without wrinkles, doesn’t show dirt or stains, isn’t scratchy or itchy, and keeps you warm without being too heavy or making you sweat. When you find something that works and you LOVE it, you kept buying it! For my decor this is the perfect set. I haven’t found anything as nice as this Madison King Set for the price.

The comfortor looks as in the picture. It looks to be more sophicated. I liked the color and the size. However, the top of it is rough. So when you are sleeping and you put your hands on its it doesn't have a soft feel. This would be a preference. Looks really nice in my bedroom. Used it for winter. If you don't mind the top feeling rough it is a good purchase.

Was leary about purchasing this based on reviews and the fact that I have a California King bed, but I absolutely love this comforter set. The price made me buy it with the thought that I could return it if I wasn't happy with it....but that was hardly the case. The price is just a bonus. California kings are 4" longer than regular kings, but 4" narrower and the length is just fine, especially for the furniture that I have. The tans may be a little lighter than the picture, but the creams and reds are dead on and all together they were perfect for my room. The material is the best part; not too light, not too heavy and just right for a comforter. The quality of the fabric is also outstanding. I washed it and let it air dry and had no problems. I have a large golden retriever who gets on the bed everynight for about 15 minutes. It has held up against him and the dog hair comes right off with a pet glove or a vacuum. The throw pillows are beautiful and top quality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

This comforter looks very nice on your bed but has quality issues. There are loose strings running in every direction anywhere there is embroidery. There is also a problem with the pleats where the comforter is sewn together. They don't want to lay down and you have to iron them if it bothers you that they stand up. The instructions tells you not to iron the comforter, however. A lose, lose situation! I haven't washed this item yet but I fear it won't hold up very well in the long run. I will say the colors represented by the manufacturer were spot on what the photos showed. Not a terrible comforter.... just not great quality!

Comforter is more than I expected, Color is burgundy-red, light tan with brown accents; exactly as it is presented on-line. Comforter itself is heavy but easily folded when removed for the night. I don't think I'd want to use it a blanket unless you live in Canada or somewhere. The 3 decorative pillows allow changing every day to mix it up. The chocolate brown bed skirt accents the colors on the comforter BUT, it is almost impossible to keep on the mattress foundation. The material that goes over the mattress foundation is slick so the mattress slides around. Plus the bed skirt slides off as well. When it's time to flip the mattress that thing is coming off! Overall I gave it 5-Stars because I wanted the comforter and don't really care about the bed skirt - which would be nice to have but, isn't a deal breaker. ************* I’ve had the comforter set for approximately 2 months and I’m in love with it as much as I was the day I first put it on the bed. It is soooo beautiful and classy - exactly the look I wanted to achieve. Buy this set, you won’t be disappointed.

This is my third Madison Park purchase, and it was better than expected for under $100. The weight of the comforter is heavier than my previous set that was much more expensive. I did not experience the problems other reviews indicate relative to bad stitching and other flaws. I did cut off a few wayward threads and tons of tags. The brown stitching to keep the cover connected to the batting is unfortunate in the ivory stripe but not a dealbreaker for me but it would have been better to use ivory thread throughout the comforter. The pillows were not as fluffy as other Madison Park sets, but they’re just fine I actually used only one pillow that came with this set because all of my previous sets have shared similar material and color shades. I was hesitant because many of the complainant reviews were in about the blue color set, but I am very happy with my purchase. The attached photo is exactly out of the bag. Some wrinkling, but nothing a misting with water can’t correct. (The lump is my pup who likes the set too!) I did put the decorative pillows and the dust ruffle in the dryer on low and that helped. I appreciate the satin material attached to the dust ruffle, which made it much easier to install between the mattress and boxspring without assistance. All around this is a thumbs up for me and for the price it earns five stars.
