    • Great for the beginner!
Overall a great set for starting off. The price is right to begin an expensive sport. The carbon shafts do break easier than a steel shaft but as they break you can replace them one by one and within a year you’ll have a new set.

I BOUGHT THESE AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY 38 YR OLD SON AND WAS SO EXCITED UNTIL I FOUND OUT HE PLAYED WITH THESE 3 TIMES BEFORE ALL OF THE IRONS HAD BROKEN WITH THE HEADS POPPING OFF AFTER HITTING SHOTS. HE SAID ONE BROKE OFF ON JUST A PRACTICE SWING AND ALL MOST KILLED HIS PLAYING PARTNER. AFTER PLACING NUMEROUS CALLS TO MACGREGOR CUSTOMER SERVICE???? WHERE THEY NEVER ANSWER OR RETURN YOUR CALL THEY WILL SEND A EMAIL ADDRESS WHICH I SENT NUMEROUS EMAILS AS WELL HOPING THEY COULD RESOLVE THIS ISSUE BY LETTING US SEND BACK THESE GRAPHITE SHAFTS SO THEY COULD STUDY TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT THERE PROBLEMS AND EXCHANGE FOR STEEL SHAFTS TO SEE IF THEY WOULD NOT BREAK.     • Lost 30 yds with every club
The clubs are light and feel as though they are filled with soft plastic. When you hit the ball, instead of a “click” or “ting”, the ball “thuds” off the face of the club. I lost an average of 30 yds with each club. The driver is described as being made of titanium, yet there is no metal to be found on the club head. Stay away from these clubs. ... show more
