I was initially concerned by the fact that the magsafe connector on this cable is larger than the one on the official Apple cable, but I now realize that most likely reason it is bigger, is because it has bigger, stronger magnets in it than the Apple one. My biggest complaint about Apple's cable is how easily it can get knocked off, so the fact that this grips better than the Apple cable is a BIG plus for me. Also, I selected this Blue color specifically because I have so many black, grey, and white cables, it takes forever for me to find a specific cable that I need. This is actually the first cable I have ever bought in this shade of blue, and I can spot it instantly, even when it's in a huge box of other cables. It is rated up to 140W, but my MacBook Air only uses 70W, and it seems to charge just as fast as the Apple cable. I have not had it long enough to be able to judge it's durability, but it seems very well built, and my impression is that it is very durable. So, no complaints! This cord works very well. Good magnetics, not as good as original product, but good. This is a great backup cord or replacement if you lost your original. Seems to charge just as fast as the original. One issue, however, was it wouldn't work at all with my power box (multiple port charger). But when I plugged it into the original square that came with my MacBook Pro, it worked just fine. YMMV. 8/10 PS: I really like the color. ... show more

Super happy with this USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable, which I got to replace the charging cord for my 2023 Mackbook Air. - Took a little over 3 hours to take my laptop from Low battery warning to full charge (same charging speed as Apple's product). - You get 72" length (compared with Apple's scant 40") - Uses same durable braided cord sheathing design as Apple, but this one also comes with additional flex point reinforcement at head and tail. - Cord is aesthetically appealing and visually easy to pick out in a tangle of cords or in a cord drawer. Purpose: I got this cable to replace a cable that was damaged for a MacBook Pro. Good Qualities: • The cable has a nice appearance • The exterior of the cable is a braided nylon exterior that seems like it can stand up to daily use without taking damage • The cable ti s rated for 140 watts which delivers a lot of power for quick charging. • The MagSafe connector has a built-in light to indicate whether the laptop is still charging or fully charged. Concerns / Complaints: • I have no concerns or complaints about this cable. The Verdict: This is a good product as a replacement of the OEM cable that comes with a MacBook or even to have as a backup, and based on the cost, you get your money’s worth. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I needed a second MagSafe charging cable for my MacBook Air M2. I prefer not to charge using the USB-C ports because I need those for connecting other devices like an external monitor and an external SSD. Additionally, the price of the original Apple MagSafe woven cable is not within my budget. This MagSafe braided cable met all my requirements, and I really like the blue color. Here’s how it compares to my OEM Apple MagSafe woven charging cable: - It has LED lights on both sides of the MagSafe connector. The lights indicate the charging status, showing either amber or green. - The magnetic strength of the connector is similar to that of the OEM Apple cable. - The cable length is 6 feet, compared to 2 meters for the OEM Apple cable. - The connector is larger and thicker (somewhat chunky) compared to the slim design of the OEM Apple cable. - This braided cable does not feel as smooth or look as premium as the OEM Apple cable. For example, it’s less flexible, which means it can become tangled and likely develop kinks, unlike the OEM Apple woven cable which auto-magically straightens and untangle itself. I haven't noticed any difference in charging performance between this cable and the OEM Apple cable. I recommend this cable as a budget-friendly alternative to the original Apple MagSafe woven cable. ... show more
